Hotel Plevna - Sliema

The staff at the reception should be more professional : they forgot the breakfast for our departure, they didn't give us the good information to book a taxi for the transfert to the hotel, they should "smile" ...

Very good value, excellent choice on Breakfast Menu, centrally located, near good shopping area and promenade. Would recommend for these reasons to all age groups.

Room seemed not extremely clean and it was bit cold; we asked for intervention, but we didn't see anyone. Good choice and quality of the breakfast. In general good price/quality relation, but honestly, for a three star hotel, I did expect something more.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel was quiet apart from the VERY noisy aircon in each of our rooms. It would have been impossible to sleep with it on. The hotel has a private lido which is 3-4 minutes' walk away and which we enjoyed using. We'd have liked it to stay open later than 18:00 and felt that the loungers should have been free of charge (like the deckchairs were) rather than having to pay EUR3,50 a day. Overall reasonably good value value for money and would recommend to others. Close to Sliema promenade and bus stops.

The reason i came too sliema,is my grandads brothers were there during the war,and my grandad was in grand harbour,our family sent our mum and stepdad here last year,for her 60th.then my mum said she is coming agaiin,and asked if she could bring my son,so i then asked too tag along with my daughter,as it was our first ever time abroad. myself and annalise enjoyed our stay,very much,and i am thinking of all of us coming back next easter,thankyou for a very pleasant stay yours lisa bernardin

Very good value for money, (approx £18 per night for a double room & breakfast)excellent hot and cold buffet breakfast, very convenient location to explore both Sliema and the rest of the island. If you don't mind not having the fluffiest towels in the bathroom, or the decor being not quite pristine, or are travelling on a budget this is a good option. Would stay here again.

Hotel Plevna is in a great location in Sliema, Malta. It is only a 5 minute walk from the Bus Terminus and the ferryboat over to Valetta. The Beach Club area (which had just closed for the season) was in pretty poor condition and could definitely use a re-model. Hotel Breakfast buffet was generous. In addition, the one dinner buffet I had was excellent. Overall, I would recommend the Plevna and stay there again

Extraordinary quality for price, nice room and good breakfast. Excellent location in Sliema, just 2 minutes walk from promenade, buses and ferries to everywhere. Lots of restaurants, fast foods, bars and shopping around. Perfect location for independent travellers, but also for groups. Quiet location in a lively but not loud part of Malta.

Towels and bathroom weren't clean as well as an hotel must have. Many waiters and precious style vs poor quality
