The Loutraki area is rich in ancient remains, such as Roman baths and the ruins of a temple dedicated to Athena. You can also stroll around the cobbled streets of Glossa, visit the Agios Yiannis Monastery with its breathtaking views or spend a day on the beach. No wonder this area was chosen as the set for the hit movie Mamma Mia.

Hotel Selenunda is surrounded by a dense pine forest extending down to the water's edge, providing the ideal location for a restful vacation on Skopelos, where sand, sea and sun are the order of the day. The view from the bedrooms is gorgeous over the Island of Skiathos, the sea, and the small port of Loutraki. Very calm. No noise, which is what we like. The managers are very nice and helpful people. Necessary to have a car, because Loutraki is far from the mosttouristic spots of the island. Once you have one, it is perfect.

All of the studios and family rooms at the Hotel Selenunda are light and airy, tastefully decorated with a white and blue colour scheme, tile floor and sturdy wooden furniture.
