A good room with high quality fittings that worked. Breakfast absolutely marvellous for the price, plenty of selection. The owner/ manager was extremely friendly as was Gary. Would certainly recommend.

Very pleasant experience. We stayed during the "Ash Fallout" and were stuck in Barcelona. Having stayed there the night before the air traffic shut down, we decided to return without reservations. The staff was excellent at allowing us the use of computers, internet and telephones to make sure we were able to reach home the best and fastest way. Absolutely wonderful! Thank you very much once more.

This hotel was everything we expected from the description and other reviews. Room size was what we expect in Europe, but the balcony was a big plus. The staff was always helpful, attentive and friendly. This made our stay very enjoyable. Phillipe in particular was delightful; recommending and securing reservations to great restaurants and suggesting itineraries for our daytime activities. Plus the mojitos at their little bar were "out of this world" good. The breakfast, while not fancy, had everything we could ask for. While this was relatively low season, we still met some great people staying here. The location of this property is a little removed from the "action", but the walk was nice after dinner to "walk" off the great dinner we had. Note that parking is on the streets around the hotel, but we were always able to find a spot within a block. That could be a problem in a higher season. We would highly recommend Los Globos to anyone wanting a reasonably priced, quality place to stay in Sitges.

Perfect place to stay in Sitges! Very welcoming staff, quiet place, very close to the sea, tasty breakfast, nice rooms with balcony, tv, hairdrier, wifi internet. Very cosy place. Not in the very city center, it takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the center and train station, but we liked it as even on Saturdays it was very quiet. On arrival we were greeted with a welcome glass of sangria. Many gay couples. We would like to come back again some day!

Very friendly small hotel, basic but clean and welcoming.

Hotel Los Globos is a small, lovely hotel in a quiet aerea of Sitges. Very close to beaches, a 10 minutes walk to the centre with a lot of restaurants, bars and shops. Breakfast is good and can be eaten on a nice terrace. The employees of the hotel are friendly and helpful, especially Juan Carlos.

We couldn't ask for a nicer Christmas escape. Phillipe and his staff are the most welcoming and pleasant people you'd want to meet. They all truly go out of their way to make your stay incredibly enjoyable. The daily continental breakfast is very above average and Phillipe even took note of what we ate and made sure to have even more of it the next day. We needed to leave very early one morning and they made sure to have food in our room the night before. They were even able to change our room to one with a view of the sea. This is true personal hospitality that you never get at 4 and 5 star hotels. We will without a doubt return to their hotel.

Perfect location, very good hotel for very good price.

this is a very good hotel to stay at in sitges. far enough away from the centre to be just a pleasant strol of aprox 10 mins to the main strip of very good eating places. apart from a room service menu the hotel only offers breakfast but a very good one. privatly run and owned by philip he, annd the staff could not give better service all with a smile! by the time you leave, all you whant to do is come back.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel so much! Everyone made us feel beeing welcome. We waked up in the morning with the scent of croissants and coffee. Breakfast was great on the terrace with Coco (the parrot) and Garry, the Golden Retriever). We´ll come back in March with two other girls!!! A very friendly and welcoming hotel a stone's throw from a lovely beach. Far enough from the hectic centre of Sitges to be really relaxing, but close enough to stroll along the prom for an evening out. Lovely rooms which all have a private terrace or balcony. Excellent buffet breakfast included and attractive terrace bar for a drink. Staff wonderfully helpful -we'll be back!

The photographs and write ups on tripadvisor were very very misleading. I chose this hotel on the write ups and both my husband and self were really really disapointed. Decor fittings and furnishing really shabby and hopelessy out of date.Plank of plywood under bed. Shower head not attached to appliance on wall. Ensuite needs total refurbishment. While we had to change our arrangements due to unforseen circumstances we would not have stayed or recommend this hotel to anyone. Relatives who were staying at 5 star hotels PAID LESS with far superior facilities and ambience.

We stay on a regular basis for the last 5 years following our first booking.

The villa was a very nice place, really a home away from home and that enhanced our stay immensely - we couldn't have hoped for better! All the staff were very friendly, curteous and accomodating - really nice people to boot. Minor gripe was was some loud drilling noises from upstairs on few occasions during the day - but at night the neighborhood is typically very peaceful and quiet.

The good: The Hotel Globos is located just a block from the sea, so close you can hear the waves from your room. In the morning, all you hear is the sea and birdsong-lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet at night, with a sweet little balcony overlooking the Sitges neighborhood the hotel sits in. The hotel's bar is a great place to hang out, too. The not- the bathroom fixtures are older, and while clean, weren't "spotless." During my stay, the street in front of the hotel was completely torn up for water pipe replacement, so you not only had to park far away, the noise of earthmovers was disturbing all day and into the evening. My biggest problem with the hotel was that they advertised free wifi throughout the hotel, it was broken during my entire stay. The staff was very accomadating and apologetic, but it was one of the reasons I had chosen the hotel. The hotel owner or manager should have fixed the problem immediately. Also, no elevator, so if you have a heavy bag and aren't strong, be prepared to do some lugging.

Excellent and very helpful staff, good public areas and buffet breakfast. No complimentary toiletries. Rooms pretty basic, but fit for purpose. Quiet area a little walk from centre. 7-8 Euro taxi ride from station.

Nice place, quiet, very close to the shore. Well kept, it was right what I was looking for. If I would be in Sitges again I'm going to stay there for sure.

Located a block away from the beach and about 1 km from the city centre, which it was nice to walk. Best pinchos of Spain in any of the local bars. Very safe to walk at night. Only a 40 min trip to Barcelona by train which allowed us to feel like locals. Heating system did not work. Bathroom has seen better days, a bit dated.

Excellent welcoming, being diabetic, they provide me with special bread during all our stay, we were felling like home, employees are so nice, taking breakfast in the little patio make you feel good for all day, excellent hotel, quiet, its gone be our for all futurs stay in Sitges.

This was a really nice hotel in a very quiet residential area of Sitges. We visited at the end of March 2008 and had a thoroughly comfortable and satisfactory stay. The owners are very helpful and friendly and it is difficult to fault this hotel in any way. The breakfast was very good,a great variety, continental in style so don't expect a traditional english breakfast here. It is about a 15 minute walk from the main station,1 minute to a very nice seafront and a very short walk to the main restaurants and attractions. It is just worth noting in the short term that some building work is taking place immediately at the back of the hotel between it and the sea. We were however very fortunate to have a room here at the back of the hotel as we had a fine view to the sea with the sun almost all day. However I would suggest that for the next few months there will could some noise / inconvienience to users of the rooms at the back as this building work has really just commenced. (Late March 2008) However nothing on the building site started before 08.00hrs in the morning but I suggest it may be worth checking with the owners the current situation regarding the progress of the work. It in no way detracted from our stay but may have an implication to people using the hotels rear rooms in the Summer 2008 season. It is an ideal hotel for a break and I fully reccommend it to you.

It was a nice Hotel and a good service.

An older property, clean and comfortable, in a quiet residential neighborhood a half block from the beachfront (no view). No clocks in room or hotel and no wakeup service provided (reception is not 24hr). A minimum twenty-minute walk from the train and bus stations and about fifteen minutes from the nearest bars and restaurants. I was disappointed in off-season Sitges: most businesses were not open at all, and those that were closed early.

The room has been recently renovated with art deco style, paintings & lamps. There was a second door to block out noise from the bar (grroud floor), that was effective. By the way, the hotel has no restaurant, it does operate a bar at night. However, the bath room was not in same good state as the bedroom - painting and bathtub and all look tired, marginally clean. There was hairdryer but there was no shampoo, I guess we were supposed to use the only hand-wash gel to wash body and hair? Breakfast buffet was correct. Front desk personel gave me good advice regarding restaurant and transportation. It is just 1 minute from the beach - excellent environment - but a bit far from restaurants and train station is 20-30 mins walking distance - it may be difficult to get taxi, so need to leave more time when going in and out. I do recommend this place, as I believe it has a good price/quality ratio.

We enjoyed our stay at the Globos. Our only complaint concerned the breakfast. We thought the bread could have been fresher. otherwise our stay there was OK.

This is a very pleasant, friendly hotel which provides an ideal seaside base. It's very clean, comfortable and everything works. It represents excellent value for money.

Quaint place. Comfortable room and bed. Good location. Lost English TV channel after the first night. Breakfasts were really nice. All of the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Having arrived in Sitges just after being robbed by a pickpocket, the staff was very understanding and facilitated our need to use their computer, phone, etc. throughout our stay. I would stay at Globos again, if it was in a different place. I don't think we'll be returning to Spain.

Unfortunately part of the hotel was under refuribishment during our short stay. The staff were friendly and always open for any questions concerning our stay. The hotel is within walking distance of the town centre and only a street in from the beach. Overall an enjoyable stay

Service excellent, bedroom new, bathroom and garden should be renovated, breakfast ok, staff very kind and professional, hotel area nice, some things to renovate, nice bar with aperitive cocktails, had a great stay there!

I would recommend Los Globos to anybody wanting to stay in Sitges. Very gay friendly. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds, air con and safety deposit boxes included in the price. The location is great, close enough to entertainment but far away enough to get a good nights sleep. The beach was just across the road. The staff were really friendly and always around for help and advice. Breakfast was served until 11.30am which suited us perfectly as we were out late most nights. Very good value for money. I look forward to staying there again in the future.

My husband and I were looking for an individual hotel in a nice quiet area close to the waterfront and town of sitges. The Hotel Los Globos was totally perfect! The people were very nice, everything you need is in walking distance, e.g. train station, shops, restaurants, beach. Our room was very nice as well. The bathrooms were painted great, but could need a little renovation. Breakfast was included and very fresh. We would absolutely go there again and recommend the hotel to our friends.

This was a fantastic hotel & I have nothing but praise for those working in it. They made everyone feel so welcome, and I had a wonderful week there. I would recommend Los Globos to anyone staying in Sitges in the future, and I will certainly go back there.

Though not a luxury resort, Los Globos is a charming hotel with style and character, and very freindly helpful staff. I would stay there again without question.

The owners were helpful and friendly and they tried their very best to make you feel at home. Very good interpersonal relationship, not too intimate and is definitely far from being cranky. I would definitely stay there again if there is opportunity.

This place is absolutely ideal! Close enough to where it is all happening, but you would think you were miles away it's SO quiet. Right by the beach but not on the main road. Breakfast is served right up to 11.30!! Very popular for gay couples.

This is a very friendly little place. All the staff speak to you and make you feel welcome The room had a clean,comfortabe bed, there were plenty towels and hot water, there was air conditioning and a balcony . What more could you want? I've stayed in larger more expensive places where some of these things were missing

W were a bit surprised to find that we seemed to be the only straight couple in the hotel but this didn't spoil our stay, only added to the "colour". Extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly staff, secluded terrace, cheerful parrot, close proximity to the beach and strolling distance from the centre all made this an excellent holiday hotel. Highly recommended - we'll be back!

Very friendly staff, perfect location. Room on the very top floor is very small with an enormous terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. Other rooms larger, but we loved that terrace and spent much of our time there. A wonderful experience and we would go back there in a minute.

Very funky boutique style hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms with balconies looking over the garden. Walking distance to the beach and shops. Nice breakfast in cool and pleasant courtyard.

Very nice place located 2 min walk from the beach. The Globos is in a residential area making it the perfect place for a nice quite weekend in Sitges.

Room was OK but bathroom badly in need of refurbishment. View from first floor (towards sea) could be improved by cutting back trees etc. Would not want a ground floor room as their "gardens" were totally enclosed by ugly fences. Breakfast was fine but lacked variety (identical every day). A fridge in the room would be a great improvement. Proprietor and staff extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel very quiet and peaceful and in a nice area convenient for beach and town. Most of guests were male couples, some of whom came in very late but made no noise whatsoever.

We arrived late at night, the staff had gone home, but a note from Joel was attached to the front door and this warmly welcomed us to the hotel and gave us entry. The following morning he met us in person and a nicer manager you could not wish to find.He was attentive,helpful and friendly and immediately made us feel at home. During the following 8 days he and his equally friendly and courteous staff made sure our stay was a pleasant one. The hotel was in a wonderful position only 1 minute from the sea-front with its array of gorgeous beaches. Although the rooms and furnishings were fairly basic and quite old they were kept scrupulously clean and contained everything you needed,the buffet breakfasts were scrumptious and offered plenty of choice and variety and Joel whizzed around keeping everything topped up with fresh supplies. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Los Globos and would recommend it to anyone, it's a lovely cosmopolitan place which can be enjoyed by the old and young,single travellers, couples and families.

This Hotel is wonderful, the staff are friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The location is ideal if you do not want to be near the busy centre but close to the beach, only 10mins walk to the town it is an ideal get away. Highly reccomended

A budget hotel in a great quiet location. Basic room but clean and roomy. Staff are excellent and cannot do enough to make you welcome. Good breakfast incl and sensible times!
