Residence Holiday - Colombare - Sirmione, Sirmione

Hotel was very good for families who has small children. Location was exellent and very peacefull. The nearest foodmarket is about 1 km from hotel. The Staff were totally helpful. We can really recommend this hotel!

Make sure you read the fine print before booking. We were charged a 40 Euro/room for final cleaning and we only stayed one night (seems high for a one night stay)! The hotel is about average for European styles and the rooms were clean although it has an "old smell". The area is wonderful and the restaurant they referred us to was excellent.

Many bad points. First, they take our identity car and give them back one day after. the employees encourage us to take and pay each day the breakfast and to take the everyday cleaning room wich is not free of course. A lot of bus with young children or with adolescent, that means a lot of noise during all the night. Sometimes there's no warm water. A lot of mosquitos. The cleaning of the room is inexistent. The bed for the fifth person wasn't allright at all. Finally, you can go there if you don't want to sleep at night and if you're really friend with mosquitos.

This residence has a hotel part and an apartment part. For the appartment additional cleaning has to be paid. This can only be found very deep in the website. Paying for cleaning €60 can be a surprise then, ut if its clean its worth it. But it isn't. This was the most dirty and dusty hotel we have ever seen. All of the lamps in the appartment were broken, the water from the kitchen leaked into the room, the refrigerator did not work upon arriving. Both on arrival and leaving the personell (exept 1) was unfriendly, uninterested exept for he money. The whole view of what we saw is that it desperate needs investment in almost anything. We however think the money from customers is going to the owners, and nothing is invested. In the surroundings, even the neighbours are much better hotels and appartments. Though it is cheap (65 per night plus 60 cleaning) it's absolutely not worth it

Just returned from holiday and had a great time staying in Colombare. Had a car for duration of stay (which is recommended if you want to travel to Sirmione, Desenzano, Gardaland etc). Accommodation was fine for 3 star but stayed in nicer 3 star apts last year. The rooms could do with a refurbishment and brightened up. I was not impressesd with the staff at reception as they hardly ever smiled and everything seemed to be a bit of an effort for them and when we checked out and handed the key over the guy didn't even look up or ask if we'd enjoyed our stay or wish us a safe journey. I definately wouldn't rush back to these apts but if you're looking for basic, cleanish apts with busy pool area then they're fine! The surrounding area more than makes up for it as it is lovely (as are Sirmione, Desenzano and Bardolino) and Gardaland is well worth a visit! This is our second time to this area and will definately return.

Disappointing to discover the distance away from the centre of Sirmione - at least a 45 min walk. Hotel accommodation could't be faulted except we hadn't realised there was no change of laundry included for the week! Excellent swimming pool and friendly staff. The hotel was unbelievably quiet which was ideal for relaxing. Would definately reccomend this especially for a family. We are a family of 5 and had a twin room apartment.

La résidence était fermée à notre arrivée. Après plusieurs coups de téléphone, quelques mensonges et une longue attente, ils nous ont trouvé un appartement sale, sombre et mal équipé. Nous avons finalement préféré prendre une chambre d'hôtel et payé plus cher. The residence was closed at our arrival. After several phone calls, a few lies et a long wait, they gave us a dirty appartement. We decided to take an hotel room and pay a supplement.

This is a very nice hotel. The pool is excellent - very clean and well maintained. Pity about the area around it, what could be lively with a bar/ ice creams and a barbie in the evening is infact dead. The room is perfectly adequate. There is a final cleaning charge. That is ok, but, we had an apartment and the cleaners did not set foot inside it once in the week. Watch out for the shelf over the bed - ouch! Balconies are nice with good views over the pool or lake. This hotel is in Colombare. This is a good 45 min walk from the main part of Sirmione. There are bars, eating places and a supermarket within 10 mins walk. Along with the Brescia to Verona bus service (which can take you to Sirmione) and which runs hourly. The boats on the lake do not run from here and you need to get to Sirmione to catch them. The staff are friendly and polite. Really nice and relaxing holiday

Great location and close to supermarket, bakery, cafes,resturants and shops. Sirmione is only a 35-45 minute walk. The bus from Verona & Brescia stops a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Very clean room with bathroom, stove, sink and fridge. We would definately recommend it.

There was a school in our part of the building. This was extremely noisy on various moments of the day and night.

We have been booked to their another hotel Porto Azzuro. Very good performance in residential area. Close to "old city". Advise: Do not acept additional "room cleaning" for 34 EUR, if this is not quoted in their web offer. Nice try..
