We stayed at the hotel for three nights. Our room had 4 beds but it was very tight (two of the beds were in the kitchen). But the room had a nice balcony, was very close to the lake with opportunities for swimming and boating. The breakfast was very good with lots of selections. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Huge dissapointing. Our room was very small and VERY hot.Halfdied conditioner could not improve situation.Furniture was shabby.Balcony had no sun protection(neither roof,no sun ambrella),though sun shone during almost all day. Avoid this place. It almost spoilled our impression from Sirmione, though we tried to spend in this Villa as little time as possible

Villa Pagode is a very pleasant and charming place to stay close to a historical town and restaurants. Our room was spacious with a balcony and a great view. We’ve appreciated our short stop in the villa.

Nice place to stay (Garda Lake itself and Villa Pagoda in particular), hotel is old fashioned and really needs some renovation (I mean only the room we lived in), but an owner is a charmful welcoming lady and you feel at her like a real personal guest. location is perfect - beach, public areas, cafes, sport facilities et.c. We much recommend it.

This is a nice property with an exquisite surruoundings, situated close to a beach and within 20 minutes walk to the historic center. The staff is highly cordial, and breakfast in the garden was a genuine treat.. And guess what, even the other guests turned out to be very nice people. Warmly recommended!!

I went to this hotel last with a girlfriend for 1 night. It's very charming and romantic and the woman that runs the place is very kind and helpfull. We where so pleased that we stayed another extra night. At this time of the year there where not many other guest, but I think in high season it's a bit noisy. The building is al little older (but in perfect condition) You can hear your neighbours taking showers etc. Internet is only available in an internet cafe a 150m walk. 6 euro/hr

In the reservation 360° lake view was promised, this was not true. therefore I think that the price of 100€ was a little bit to much.

We booked a suite with airconditioning. We didn't get it until the second night after we made a fuss. The hotelier explaaned that Venere had given her little warning that we were coming. So she had no suite available for the first night. I understand that problem. However, she still charged us for the suite! Not impressed with the hotelier's generaosity or customer service. The first room was very hot and not comfortable as a result. Please also note that there is little or no customer service excpet B& B.

Well, you cannot help recommending the location of the hotel. It's just a minute's walk from the lake shore, wrapped in the garden's greenness at the bottom of a narrow headland venturing into the waters of Lake Garda. A walk around gives the opportunity to enjoy a panorama of the lake shores, and at the cape a picturesque town with a Scaligeri citadel awaits being discovered.

We just stayed for a night but it was OK. The only problem we had was that we came 2 hours later than stated in our reservation and the lady from the reception was not there so if it wouldn't have been for a nice lady that was staying there that helped us calling the lady and telling her that guests arrived! We might have to sleep somewhere else... Still she was nice when coming and helped us with what we needed. Clean room, good shower, OK price!

When we arrived, late a friday evening, we were told that our room had been double booked. Even though mistakes do happen for all people, for a hotel to make such a mistake is a deadly sin. Not a good start at all. But the good thing is that the hotel owner solved this problem quickly and found a superb room for us in a hotel just 10 meters from Villa Pagoda. Also, she compensated us by reducing the price. The breakfast was good and the surroundings nice. So in the end, we were more than satisfied with out stay. The lake is just a few meters from the hotel and Sirmione is just walking distance away. If walking is not your thing, Colombare is a rather nice place to stay, with a lot of store and restaurants and less touristy than Sirmione.

The main shortage of the room-there no air condition. very hot. But quality vs. price is excellent, small nice hotel for short staying. breakfast and parking included in the rate. Lake Garda and promenad-about 1 min by walk. Historic centre-about 15 min. It was very wonderful.

We stayed in Villa Pagoda for four nights in September and we have no bad things to say about it. The hotel was better than we expected and the only bad thing about it was the location but even that wasn't too bad. From Villa Pagoda one can take the bus to Sirmione and walking doesn't take longer than half an hour. We walked the way there and back nearly everyday. The bus stop is about 200meters away from the hotel and there is a small store about half a kilometer away and a bigger supermarket about 1km away. The hotel is located near the main street taking to Sirmione but it is on a side street so the voices from the main street don't bother. The owner lady in the hotel is really really helpful and friendly. She doesn't speak fluent English but enough to get understood. She always sets the breakfast in a room downstairs and will prepare coffee, espresso, cappucino, tea or hot chocolate with it. We enjoyed our time in Villa Pagoda and would definately go back there if we will return to the area. Greetings to the lady in Villa Pagoda from Finland!

Lovely location, across the street from nice restaurants, and beautiful park for walking along side the gorgeous lake. Easy access to the center and sights. Very clean. Nice breakfast and service. Nice bathroom. Negatives: 1. Outside entrance sitting area is in neglect; 2. Extra bed took half the moving space in the room and should have been removed for a 2 pp reservation; 3. Hot temperatures and no airconditioning -- having to leave the windows open made for some noisy sleepless nights.

Well located hotel with friendly staff. Big room with a balcony was a nice surprise; however, air conditioning would have added comfort as well as brighter lights in the room (reading in bed not possible). Breakfast was OK but there was no variation. After 4 days also the “best of pan flute”/ABBA played during the breakfast hour (8am-9am) was somewhat annoying.

Location is a longish (20-30 minute) walk from Sirmione, although there is also a bus. Quiet spot just off the main street, but pretty dated: old decor and room fixtures, etc. However, clean and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was fine and personnel friendly and helpful.

Villa Pagoda is hidden away in a lovely area right next to the Lake but away from the floods of tourists. There is a lovely hotel just on the Lake where you can admire the view and the food and service are wonderful! And all at a great price, it really is great value and the breakfast is very nice. You are a walk away from the main attractions and castle of Sirmione and the location could not be better!

This was a lovely hotel but our room felt like it hadnt been used for a while. The net curtains and window pains were a little bit insecty and the whole room needed a big hoover to remove cobwebs from ceiling and insects from around the window. Having said this the room was great, good size with a lovely bathroom. Towels changed daily, great shower and a lovely maid. Breakfast was nice, although abba played most mornings :-) The only downfall is a lack of air conditioning, which wouldnt have been so bad had there been alternatives. By this I mean a fan to use/rent, which seemed an alien idea when i asked the lady in charge. And/or a mosquito net over the window so the windows could have been left open for a breeze to come in (my partner gets badly bitten by insects). So we had a few very hot nights which did spoil the stay a little. Also bear in mind this hotel is a good half hour walk from Sirmione (it looks closer on the map than it actually is), and so, whilst the walk wasnt so bad, it is worth considering! Buses dont run often enough to bother with either. If on a budget and want to see Lake Garda worth considering.

I am sorry that the overall problem werw two: There is an extremely ugly smell at the floors and in our room!!!!! We coul´dn´t stand it. And the room was too hot so our sleep was bad. Aircondition in summertime is a good choice we think. About the smell we don´t know, a mixture of something rotten and a very strong smell of the stuff you use for cleaning swimmingpools!!!!

We traveled as a family with four (the oldest stayed home). The childeren slept in s sofa the with a twist turned into a double bed. Nice and quiet room. Perfect breakfast. We had a bath in the Garada lake, just 100 metres from the hotel. Remember that the reseption area closes in the evening. At this hour the entry is done by a stair facing the front yard in first floor (first door to the right) using the other key on your keyring.

This place is a little gem! We had adjacent rooms with a balcony so were able to sit outside and enjoy the view of Lake Garda to the left through the trees, less than 100 metres away. Don't expect your room to be square, but the odd angles and corners all add to the delight of this excellent little hotel. Good breakfast, pleasant staff, and a few minutes walk from a local shops and bars. Would have liked to have stayed for a few nights, but had to make do with the one!

Was a very nice place to stay. We were welcomed by the staff and led to a nice room on the second floor. Breakfast was typical Italian fare served in a wonderful room decked out with flowers. We arrived a day earlier than our reservation date by mistake, however our hostess was very accomodating and offered the extra night at the same internet price and also gave us our own little rustic house right next to the lake! It was very clean and comfortable, the stairs however were unsuitable for people with any mobility problems and the bathroom rather cramped. However this was just in our house not in the main hotel which was situated about 50m away. We had a varied breakfast provided in the main hotel. The hotel was situated about 15 minutes from the centre of sirmione and very close to other bars and eateries. We had a lovely stay ay villa pagoda and would highly recommend it!
