Hotel Suisse - Sirmione

There was no information before that a Harley Davidson meeting is in Sirmione. This has destroyed the rest. There was no sleep possible and not a quiet dinner.

It is a smart hotel situated near the historic center of Sirmione. Rooms are quiet and comfortable.Brackfast is served in a good sunny place, and has lot of options. The only thing I would say to improve services, is that swimming pool should have not so cold water. Sirmione is a wonderful place to stay and know all the sorrundings of Lago di Garda.(including Verona at 40kmts)

Despite all rooms are non-smoker my actual room smelled severely. Since the hotel was fully booked there was no chance to relocate to another room. I will not take the risk again.

Good, basic hotel, with good working A/C, excellent breakfast, free, fast internet, smallish, unheated pool, small rooms and small bathroom, hard, short beds. Our triple room had separate tiny space (with door) for our child, which was nice, helpful staff, farther from center of town than many other hotels. Photos made it look more like a "resort," but it is not - it is just a hotel on the main street leading to the old town. Last time we stayed in the center of Sirmione, but felt trapped due to difficulty of getting a car in and out. This was a bit far from the center to be ideal, but was easily accessible by car. This was our first stop in Italy and we weren't that impressed, but then compared to other places we stayed, it seemed better in retrospect. Given the generally high prices for hotels in Sirmione, it is a reasonable value for money, but not a bargain.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Suisse. The hotel is easy to find and has plenty of free parking places. We stayed in two nice rooms, clean and of good standard. Good aircondition in the rooms. The breakfast buffet is very good and we enjoyed the swimmingpool a lot. Sirmione is a beautiful place and the old center is in walking distance from the hotel. We will definitely recomend this hotel to others. Well organized, peaceful and clean.

Service and surroundings are fine, also the breakfast. Rooms are a bit "shabby" but fortunately the air condition worked perfectly at 38° C outside. Free wlan is also remarkable - thanks a lot. Fact is that either the price should be lower or the rooms more attractive.

Unlike many Italian hotels, this place is not in serious need of updating. Unfortunately, it's a 20 minute walk to the castle/tourist area.

LOVELY, MODERN AND COLOURFUL HOTEL. GORGEOUS POOL AND VIEWS OF LAKE GARDA. BEST BUFFET BREAKFAST WE HAVE HAD IN ITALY- YUM! ABOUT A KILOMETRE AND A HALF WALK TO THE TOWN BUT A FLAT BEAUTIFUL WALK. WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN.

I loved this hotel. Its decor is modern, bright and refreshing. Very nice buffet breakfast. Magnificent pool. Hotel is right across the road from Lake Garda. A bit of a walk into the town but ok as it is flat and the view is spectacular. I would definitely recommned this hotel.

first time in Sirmione at 800m from old city, nice place

Good location for a quick visit, a 15 min pleasant walk to the famous castle. However welcoming feels fake; they charged the credit card in advance; they persistently tried to "sell" discounts to attractions and restaurants; etc. In fact, this unfriendly attitude seems to be common to most (service) people in Sirmione. So we recommend to see the castle and the view from the top, then leave Sirmione and spend the rest of the day and night somewhere else.

Best service in Italy. The hotell itself is a little worn out, and the location wasn´t that good (no shops or other "action" near hotel, 1,5 km walk to Sirmione center), but we liked it a lot. The Lady of the House really understood what a good customer service means! Little things for example: She brought ice tea and melon slices to the pool for free, and gave us "hand made" lunch box when we left early. It felt that You were really welcome to this cosy hotel. We will definitely come back some day!

Excellent hotel, service really good, breakfast with a lot of choices (being not often the case in Italy)... Overall hotel is excellent, I will recommend it without concerns.

Hôtel très bien situé et de bon standing . Accueil agréable ; personnel disponible . Borne internet en accès libre et illimité (pour dépanner : météo , trafic routier , infos touristiques , etc ...). Petit déjeuner très complet .

Excellent rapport qualité/prix (80 eur/nuit petit-déjeuner compris .Hôtel rénové et soigné. Accueil très professionnel et serviable (personnel multilingue dont une personne d'origine belge). Situé à un bon km du centre historique de Sirminione, cela permet de le rejoindre via une jolie ballade à plat ; l'ancienne ville est charmante et offre de belles visites ainsi qu' un beau choix de restaurants et de boutiques.

Hôtel sympathique. Nous étions 3. Le troisièle lit était un lit de camp... Moyen. La salle de musculation n'est pas à la hauteur de la photo ! Mais sinon, très bon séjour.

Very confortable room. Friendly and helpfull staff both at reception and breakfast room. The property is in front of the lake (both sides) and close to the city center. Perfect location with a very good price/quality relationship. Excellent!

Shower curtain was too short for the tub causing the curtain to move into the person while in the shower and getting water on the floor. This would be easy to correct by either getting longer shower curtain or lowering the shower curtain bar.

Very welcoming on arrival. Clean hotel just as described. Pool kept very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Estuvimos un fin de semana, el hotel es correcto relacion precio calidad. Los emplados muy simpaticos y atentos, siempre dispuestos a ayudarte en cualquier peticion. La situacion del hotel esta muy bien. El desayuno buffet, es bueno y abundante.

Stayed for a few days. Very clean rooms, excellent helpful staff. About 15 mins walk to the main town. Plenty of parking and an excellent Hotel if you have a Car as Parking/driving around the area can be a nightmare!

really enjoyed our stay in the hotel staff friendly helpful and efficient location about 20 minutes walk outside sirmione but there is a bus,some photographs on the web do not do justice to the hotel eg. breakfast room and gym but on personal experience i would definately recommend this hotel. great value for money

I arrived late in the evening and the hotel staff was there to assist me, including room access and operation of all amenities. The air conditioning was exceptionally good and the room very comfortable. Access to the beach and all of the sights in Sirmione was super. Due to high winds I was unable to visit the beach on my second day in Sirmione and wished that the hotel had a pool. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
