Hotel Miramar - Sirmione

We enjoyed our stay here very much. If you come by public transport, there's a bus stop opposite. Staff are welcoming, and facilities are very good. The pool and garden right on the lakeside are excellent. Side rooms have an angled view of the lake, but if you want a room at the front with a really splendid view, you need to ask when you book. Town and restaurants are 10 minutes' walk away along the lake. Sirmione is a quaint little place with winding streets and many good places to eat. Highly recommended.

This is a very pleasant, quiet hotel in a quiet location, suitable for families with small children or older couples. The hotel is clean, the rooms spacious and the swimming pool very nice. The breakfast is adequate, although nothing special. The situation of the hotel is great for visiting the beautiful castle of Sirmione, which is ten minutes walk, and travelling around Lake Garda.

Great hotel, comfortable rooms, friendly staff,wonderful location, quite rooms with a good view, good breakfast. We enjoyed our stay there!

Nice and clean hotel with a good location in between historic center and Colombare. Spacious public areas and a nice garden. Could for sure return in the future.

Overall a fantastic hotel with the best location and very fine facilities for small kids. Very nice and clean pool. A computer in the hotel with internet would be nice.

We stayed in may '09: 2 days "good" for us: nice place, 5 min walking to the ancient center. owr room had a working private air conditioning, the bath was perfect, nice wiew from the small balcony, big parking inside the hotel, amazing breakfast, ducks on the lake, elevator. if you find a good price offer...just take it "not perfect": a little unpleasant smell from lake (don't know if it depends on vegetation on the private beach or...but fortunately it doesn't reach the room or the swimming pool, just close to the beach) so we stayed away from the private beach. the first day the swimming pool was not so clean, but the second day it was well cleaned.

There was no Internet con. stated in offer! Otherwise, clean, quiet hotel. ...needs to me modernised however.

Very clean hotel. Only a 10-minute walk from the historic town of Sirmione. Plenty of off-street parking, if required. Stunning lakeside views from the private beach and jetty. so much so, it is where i proposed to my fiancee at sunset!

Hotel Miramar was excellent. Rooms were cool in the heat. The pool was lovely and the grounds great for lounging around. The evening meals were genuine Italian - simple but very good. We had a great 3 days and would return. Sirmione is a fascinating place - the old town is very busy, quite expensive, but lovely to walk round. Huge range of restaurants and bars. Travelling on the Lake garda from Sirmione was easy and very enjoyable.

My room is in front of Garda Lake. Very clean. Hotel is near center and nearly most of Sirmione attraction. I stay only 1 night but i think that i 'll come back soon.

The beach picture appeared to be a normal beach but when we stayed there it was covered in plant growth. This was a small inconvience but overall it was a wonderfull hotel.

The fact that parking was €9 per day should have been mentioned on the website! A couple of the reception staff were not at all friendly and helpful but overall an ok hotel.

Wunderschöne Lage direkt am See mit Bademöglichkeit. Eine Viertelstunde Fußweg bis zur Altstadt von Sirmione.Ausreichend Schatten-Parkplätze auf dem Hotelgelände. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

We had an excellent stay at Miramar, and appeciated their very good kitchen and the short walking distance to the old town of Sirmione.

Un ottimo hotel a 2 passi dal centro di Sirmione. Con Parcheggio e giardinetto rilassante ai piedi del lago. Consigliato

If you have a room near the road it's very noisy. Ask for a room on the lake side.

We were extremely happy with this family run hotel and could not fault any part of it. Highly recommended

A family run hotel where personal service is paramount.desk staff and in the resturant very helpful.Good family traditional menu - good sized portions.children welcome. Has lake views and garden on the lake: but not in the walled area of sirmione,about 5 mins. walk to Lake ferry terminal and main bus pickup for Verona and Desancaro.Sirmione is expensive to eat out so evening meal(1/2 board ) a good deal. - plenty of carparking spaces.

Breakfast could have been better, especially the "fresh" bread rolls, too hard everyday, rest was OK.

No access to beach at time we stayed but otherwise very good and 10 minutes walk from village.

Good location, 10 is mins walk to Sirmione centre (pretty + lots of restaurants) Room was simply furnished, large and clean. Breakfast (B&B only) was plentiful & tasty Good views of lake, however private beach was overgrown with reeds (maybe due to lateness of season) Clientel tended to be over 50 (some well over 50!) however this ensured it was quiet! Decor was somewhat of a throwback to the 70's in places, however it was all in good order and the staff were all pleasabt + helpful Overall an enjoyable stay + decent value

Well located - 15min walk from city

The price quoted was not the price I ended up pay8ng. When I arrived, they told me Venere rooms were only for garden views and I had wanted a sea view. Please confirm this with me. Since i wanted sea view like the photo showed, I had to pay 100 euros. We did enjoy the tranquil stay. The old town was close. Even though English was difficult for some of them to speak, they were friendly and tried to understand. The baths had been renovated and were new.
