Hotel Marolda - Colombare - Sirmione, Sirmione

Good clean hotel with a typical Italian breafast. Owners very helpful and apologetic about how little English they spoke. On direct route into Sirmione about 2 Km from bridge. Ample parking and easy access to routes around lakes.

We had a fantastic holiday at our hotel and the city was beautiful but Sirmiome restaurant, it became bad to dinnerware

The hosts understand that it is their business to give their guests a pleasant stay. Very sincerely kind and helpfull people, nice rooms, best breakfast we had on our tour in Italy. We felt at home here and would definetely come back in case we want to stay in Sirmeone. Only downsight might be Sirmeone itself. Appart from a short visit in the old town, not much interesting things around. Excelent location as starting piont to explore lake Garda by car though.

Shower is too small (non convinient) - suitable maybe for a very thin guy.

Überaus zuvorkommende und freundliche Betreuung der Hotelbesitzer. Zimmer (ca. 18m2) mehr als zweckmäßig und sehr sauber. 3 deutsche TV-Sender W-Lan auch in den Zimmern (kostenlos), Parkplatz gleich neben Hotel. Zentrale Lage für Ausflüge. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, dass wir im Herbst nochmals gebucht haben!

We have a good stay at this nice hotel and the Staff has been everytime friendly and given us a lot of advices for having a good holiday. Moreover, the possibility to freely take a bike is very useful to reach Sirmione and Desenzano. So, I suggest to everyone that want to spend a couple of days at Garda Lake to book a room in this pretty Hotel. PS: The only slight defect is a notable noise in the morning (due to people that have breakfast) that could be bothersome if you want to stay in bed till late morning.

There were absolutely no surprises at this hotel, i.e., what you read and see online is what you get and I mean that positively. I would not, however, recommend this lovely hotel for parents travelling with young children. We have traveled throughout Southern Europe with our twin 6 year old boys and the guests at this place were the least welcoming to our children. Boys will be boys from time to time and the one afternoon (30 minutes to be exact) that they were laughing and giggling, we were informed by the owner that we had to be more quiet. Considering that we only slept in the hotel and were out for the better part of each day, I was quite astounded. Had it been late in the evening or early in the morning, then I could understand but it was close to midday before siesta. In any case, a great spot in a quaint town very near a good part of the lake to swim. Bravo to the husband and wife who own this hotel! If you are traveling without young children, it is a no-brainer - stay here.

Great vacation. Very welcoming small hotel with nice staff. Nice breakfast. Very basic and simple room with good view to Lake Garda. Enjoyed our stay (with wife and 10 year old daughter).

This was the first time I stayed at the hotel and it would be my choice again. Very helpful and nice staff. I liked a lot that it is possible to borrow a bicycle from the hotel. A bicycle ride to the center is really nice.

Marolda is a family run Hotel by Paolo and Paola and they were very, very welcoming and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good and they were always on hand to top up anything that was getting low. The room was basic, but very clean and great aircon. Location wise, it is about a 25 minute walk to the old town on the peninsular, but it's an interesting walk in a nice area. Also there are many shops nearby inc a pharmacy and a bank to exchange currency. Parking is very easy as it is in the hotel drive down the side. We would stay there again!

An excellent hotel, nice location, the owners could not do enough for us and seemed to really enjoy what must be a difficult job - they made a big difference to our holiday. Only slight negative was the lack of a pool. Would only consider visting Sirmione again if I could stay at this hotel!
