Hotel Holiday - Colombare - Sirmione, Sirmione

Good hotel, nice environment, near the lake. It is a pitty of the thin walls and the single glazing for some noise pollution.

We had a very good holiday at this hotel. We found that a lot of people were Italian so we couldn't converse.

Very good hotel, the breakfast was wonderful and the room was very comfortable. In addition, the free parking was helpful for us.

Nous avons logé dans la partie HOTEL (il y a aussi une partie appartements).Personnel très accueillant. Très propre. Petit déjeuner buffet avec croissants et pain frais. Parking facile. Chambre très basique mais correcte (dommage que l'éclairage de la chambre se résume à deux ampoules "nues" et que la porte ne soit pas insonnorisée). Terrasse avec table et chaises. Grande piscine. Personnel très gentil. Prix respecté. !!Près du lac mais pas de plage!! Nous étions à cet hôtel juste pour dormir donc absents la journée.

Ideale per passare un weekend a sirmione...comodissimo come posizione anche per raggiungere il favoloso Gardaland...lo staff è molto disponobile, le stanze grandi e pulite...la colazione ottima... consigliatissimo a coppie e famiglie!!

Strong smell of alcohol for cleaning in the room and bad looking room forniture.

We went at Easter 2006. found it good value for money - even better if you avoid the busy periods. It's close to the lake 3 minutes walk) where there are the most incredible views. Our first trip to Italy.My daughter loved the ice-creams in the area! Sirmione is fantastic.

We had an excellent time at hotel holiday! the staff knew perfect english and were very welcoming and helpful. breakfast very good and filling. the tv actually got english channels. the air condition didn't work part of the day, but we didn't spend the day in the room anyway so it didn't matter. location very good - 10 minutes walk from the bus station, and there are signs with directions to the hotel. for everyone without a car - the bus goes every hour or so, so it's recommended to check the schedule in advacne. we mainly wanted to go to gardaland, so the location was perfect. but if you want to visit sirmione (and again, you're without a car), it's a bit far to walk. if you do have a car and can drive everywhere, the location's perfect as a base for everything around garda lake (not to mention that the prices in Colombare are a lot cheaper than sirmione).

Our room had just a plain locked door to the neigbour's room. We could hear every word from our neigbours and certainly they heard us all the night since we were staying with our little baby... This really was a bad and noisy situation, better check this before you book. So the hotel was okay.

First visit to Lake Garda - pleased with hotel - liked the pool. Helpful staff.

Our room was large enough for family of 4 but the rooms do not have any sound-proofing. The doors also have to slam to shut. The rooms were air-conditioned but hallways and main area were not. The included breakfast was good and ample, and my children enjoyed the pool, but the staff were not helpful in suggesting where to go for dinner in Sirmione and when I asked for a map they wanted it returned. The location is a bit hidden but there are signs posted to direct you to the hotel if you head for Sirmione. While we had a good time at Lake Garda I would look for a more welcoming place next time. I would not recommend this place for families with very young children as it is not very child friendly.

Excellent accomodation and value for Lake Garda region. Breakfast a problem when busy as not enough space

What a beautiful place to spend a relaxing time away.If Driving from Montichiari Airport we found the road directions on the maps we had a bit tricky, so if you are new to driving in Italy give your self a little extra time for travelling. Hotel and staff were excellent and very helpful,a great base to explore Lake Garda.Would stay here again Fantastic...

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. The 25meter swimming pool is a big plus. Very helpful friendly staff and great location. Rooms were perfect very clean and comfortable.

Whilst the Web site was misleading -we thought we had booked an apartment but when we arrived we had just booked a standard room with no fridge, the staff were most helpful and arranged to put some of our provisions in the bar fridge as they were unable to change our accomodation. Also the air conditioning packed up mid stay (during summer heatwave)but was fixed the following morning even though it was a weekend.Overall, good value for money with lake and superb views just 100m at end of cul de sac, though taxi needed to visit evening attractions.

A very helpul and nice staff. The pool very good. An overall good hotel. I want to use this space to talk a little bit about the venere.com website. First of all I think it’s an excellent service and a great website. However, in the “review section” of the website it has always gotten on my nerves what they call "which type of user are you". I can understand that different users have different needs when traveling, for example people with kids vs. a group of friends. But to make a difference between "heterosexual couples" and "homosexual couples" is both embarrassing and rude. I think the demands and needs of couples, regardless to their sexual orientation, is pretty similar and to suggest otherwise is offensive to everyone.

Gute Lage, ruhig und nah am See. Großer Pool, allerdings mit Blick auf die Tiefgarage. Großes Zimmer mit einstellbarer Klimaanlage, einziges Manko: nicht abnehmbarer Duschkopf.

The rooms were a little below average. The air conditioner is turned off from 9-1 while the rooms are cleaned and then off again for a couple of hours at 4. Just a strange set up. The people there were very nice, the location was great. There is a bit of noise heard between the rooms. Also we were right above the breakfast room so we heard that. Because of the heat I bought an electric fan and it covered the noise and cooled things off. For a lowere price, I wouldn't have minded this room, but at $150 for 4 I wanted a better class of hotel.

Avendo pernottato una sola notte, è evidente che si possa essere incorsi ad errori di valutazione (nel bene e nel male). Tutto sommato comunque una sistemazione di buon livello.

The rooms are according our expectations, good cleen and good hospitality

Very clean, excellent breakfast, friendly and very helpful staff. Location of Holiday is in residential/resort community, the real beauty of Garda Lake is in the north section of lake (about an hour drive along coast to northern end) but price in this area was much better for families with children, also lots of child friendly activities and beautifly pool. Lake in south end is beautiful and clean but beaches are rocky.

Located in a quiet suburban area with little or no passing noise. Swimming pool area very quiet and relaxing. Very friendly and welcoming staff at breakfast each morning
