Hotel Flaminia - Sirmione

Parking is 600m away from Hotel, difficult to get to the Hotel by car to unload/load (plan at least 1/2hour extra), since a pedestrian area is around the hotel - with immense traffic. Rooms without seaview in the side building (not indicated when booked) have really poor views and are very loud - which might be ok for a one night stay, definitely not for longer stays.

Very convenient if you are arriving by boat from the lake, and it's easy to get a taxi to the train station. Very nice atmosphere both in the public spaces and the rooms.

Very good hotel. The employees at the reception were very kind, the room had a balcony that faced the lake for a wonderful sight, tha bath was big enough and there was a great quietude; just the room was a little bit smaller than we expected and maybe it's time to renewate it. Probably the best fault is the private parking, that is located outside the historical center and need a 10 minute walk. However, I suggest to stay there

Flaminia is in a beautiful location with a great breakfast and a lovely staff. However, their second building is on a service alley that is extremely loud in the morning. The bed was also less than comfortable.

Great location. Friendly staff. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby. We had a fantastic view.

Ein eher kleines, liebrvoll geführtes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal, sehr gutem Frühstücksbuffet und herrlichem Blick direkt auf den See. Ich komme bestimmt wieder. Ein Platz für anspruchvolle Gäste, die den Rummnel weniger lieben.

Very nice location in the middle of the old Sirmione twon. The staff was kind, tbe breakfast was complete and excelent.

The double superior was very nice, although it was not lake view as it was suggested. The room also missed some minore details one would expect from such an hotel: there was no shampoo only a bar of soap. Also there was no large towel nor slippers. There was no great choice of TV channels, but after all who wants to watch TV while in Sirmione? However the room was very pleasant and vry well decorated. The deck on the lake is also superb.

The hotel is located directly at the lake garda in the romantic and pitoresque old historic center of Sirmione. from the terrace you simply have a few steps down to take to swim in the lake - wonderful! the terrace (no place for babies and young kids) is quiet and a real alternative to the crowded public beaches. IMPORTANT: If you book the hotel, insist NOT to get a room with windows to the street behind the hotel and its annex, i think it is via romagna or so. every night Sirmione's garbage collecotrs start there work with a hell of a noise from 3 or 4 am. They come several times per night and ther is no chance to sleep with open windows. You won't face this problem with romm to the piazza or the lake, i guess.
