Hotel Europa - Colombare - Sirmione, Sirmione

Lovely peaceful hotel with helpful pleasant staff. The only problem we had was finding it. Our sat nav never seems to work properly in this part of Italy and we arrived at night. The sign on the roof of the hotel and the sign at the end of the street were not illuminated.

I've been to Colombare many times and I really enjoyed my stay at this Hotel. Location and the facilities are excellent. Plenty of opportunities of cycling, walking, relaxing and enjoying the spectacular view. Only downside is the rooms are a little on the small side. I will definitely return.

Wonderful service, very good full breakfast, great views and seating areas to enjoy the lake, large well kept pool. Staff very friendly, easy to get into and out of the city. Would definately stay at this hotel if we return to Sirmione. Also great price for the rooms.

The hotel is located 15 meters from the lakeside, with a direct door to the private beach. The view from the hotel and from some rooms is unique. The hotel is renovated, the swimming-pool is brand new and nice (with jacuzzi). The family welcome us very nicely but was also both discreet and always available when required. They provided good advices. The small bar with nice view is great to have a beer in front of the lake. The breakfast was huge and excellent, with a view on the lake and small birds coming to eat your bread :-) All was good! strongly to be recommended. Walking distance to the restaurant (good one next to the camping, 20 meters from the hotel). In May, there was a small shuttle boat to go to the historic center (3 euros per person)(nice trip taking 5/10mn which would take about 15mn by foot). You need to take into account that the parking in the hotel is free compared to several euros per hour in the center or Sirmione so worth going there by boat :-)

This hotel is excellent and exceed the standard.the owners and all the staff are very welcoming and professionnal.the surroundings with the lake just close to the hotel are fabulous. the stay was really perfect and we hope to go again in hotel Europa.

Excellent hotel,ideally situated, not far away from the castle of the Sirmione,on the lake shore,with nice staff,beautiful garden,clean pool and large shady private parking.Perfect breakfast served in or outside in the garden

Having travelled over 2 days in our car from England, the Hotel Europa had a glorious rose-lined approach to the hotel, in its lovely setting beside the Lake Garda in Colombare(Sermione.) Whilst meals, apart from Breakfast, were not served, the Breakfast was excellent, served either inside or outside in the garden area. The waiter Roberto was a charming chap and made everyone feel welcome. On the front desk both the owner and his son and their receptionist were very helpful with recommendations about evening meals with all restaurants suggested of high quality. All in all, a lovely stay, in a lovely family-run hotel! P.S. The hotel, just off Via Colombare and 2 Km from Sirmione itself is ideally situated for runs, or boat trips, to areas round Lake Garda like Peschiera(lovely port)and Bardolino(beautiful flower bedecked port) and to vineyards e.g. Ca di Frati, which produce very fine wines.

What a warm and friendly hotel. The members of staff could not have been more helpful. Roberto was just the tonic to start your day off at breakfast time. helpful, friendly and amusing. The choice of food was excellent. When we were there the guest split was 30% English to 70% German. We are going to be visiting again very soon. Thank you for a nice experience and well done!

In this area of Garda Lake, there are a lot of mosquitos. The GREEN MOVEMENTS don´t want to kill them, and is a trouble, special at night.
