I had a single room which was a bit on the small side. Both the fridge and the hairdryer did not work. The fridge would have been handy as it was approx 40degrees for the duration of my stay. Overall enjoyed the stay, the location was good and I would recommend it as good value.

Wieder ein schön Aufenhalt im Hotel Broglia! Toller Pool, lecker Frühstück (und das in Italien ;-) tolle Lage. Wir kommen wieder!

I stayed for five nights in a single room (room 20) which was a generous size with a large balcony and a single bed. The air conditioning was excellent and the room was very comfortable. The hotel has free wifi which was just within range in my room and there is a public desktop computer at reception. There is a large clean swimming pool. I was able to park my motorbike within the hotel grounds so did not need to use the underground parking. The continental breakfast was good with an excellent fresh fruit salad provided. This is an old-fashioned quality hotel. Its a good point to pick up boat trips around the lake. One day I visited Venice by train which is 1.5 hours away.

I spent two nights in Sirmione. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful, hotel location is central but commom areas and rooms do need a total refurbishing. Hotel does not deserve 4 stars rating and the relative costs.

Comfortable hotel, well situated, helpful staff. Good breakfasts. Small, quiet swimming pool. Hotel decor a little tired, but otherwise fine.

In general the hotel was nice and the staff were helpful and friendly. However, the photograph of the rooms on the website and the actual room were very different. Our room was very small and would have benefited from some updating. It was quite expensive in comparison to the quality. The pool area was nice.

Outstanding location within the walled city. The staff was excellent and did a great job providing recommendations for things to do. The hotel is centrally located to great restaurants and cafes. Access to the hotel does require you to drive into the city with very small streets that are filled with tourists. People with oversized vehicle might have a hard time navigating the streets.

Wir hatten ein schönes verlängertes Wochenende im Broglia, freundlicher Empfang, guter Service, sehr leckeres Frühstück auf der Terasse. Es ist ruhig gelegen innerhalb der Altstadt, ein Strand ist in der Nähe (3 min Fussweg).

This was our first trip to the Lago di Garda region. After a long day of missed trains and taxis, we were greeted with welcoming smiles by the evening desk man who later led us down a short walk to a wonderful restaurant, where we were treated royally. The Broglia is full of old world charm while offering all the modern amenities. Most rooms do not command a view of the lake but that was not a problem for us. During the day,multilingual Valentina helped us make plans and navigate aroung the area. The breakfasts were exceptional, with Filipo suavely overseeing all. The only complaint was the family dog...which although very cute, started crying each day around 6 a.m., right under our window. All in all, Hotel Broglia diserves it's 4star rating.

Excellent location. Dated furniture, whole hotel is in desperate need for a face lift. Certainly not 4 stars.

The hotel and our stay was very nice. The welcome and the service was very warm. The only thing that we weren´t prepared was, that you had to drive through really narrow streets with a lot of people to get to the hotel. I would recomend a small car or to drive to and from the hotel early in the morning.

This was our first visit to Sirmione and we found the map did not readily explain how we could reach the hotel. By process of elmination, discovered we had to drive through the castle, after being cleared by a traffic policemen who checked to see that we were expected at the hotel. Interesting short drive through crowded streets. The hotel was on a treelined street with parking in the hotel grounds. Warm welcome including someone to take our bags to our room (same service on departute). Delightful old world atmosphere to the hotel (once used by Hemingway). Excellent breakfast (hot and cold). Everything within a minute or two's walk including the Grotto di Catullo.
