The rustic elegance
of an old farmhouse
immersed in a quiet garden,
it has recently been transformed
into a Hotel Bolero.
Situated 800 metres from
the new Sirmione Spa.
It has natural stone walls with large and small beams to go back
to the warmth of natural materials.
The essential shapes
of the farming civilization can be found in the Kitchen cupboards, the chests and the sideboards
from the end of nineteenth century: in the sobriety of the lines
and in the discreet decoration
one finds the spirit and the charm
of a way of life that has been updated for the sake of good
taste and modern efficiency.
All the particulars have been carefully
studied and put into this period setting in a natural way.

The Hotel is small but beautifully decorated. It is the perfect combination of traditional and modern features. Our room was lovely and quiet and overlooked the pool. The staff are very friendly and you instantly feel at home. Breakfast is served pretty much anytime from 8am and we were both impressed with the quality and choice(considering it is Italy!!) We liked it so much we are returning in August for my birthday

A very nice hotel with a warm welcome the minute we arrived. We were given a very nice room with ample bathroom facilities. The garden and pool are a very big plus, and make up for the somewhat less than pleasant immediate surroundings of the hotel (construction site but it did not disturb us at all). The service is impeccable and the family very friendly. Ample choice of breakfast items. Excellent value for money: I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return during my next visit to the area.

I would recommend the hotel Bolero to anyone, there was four of us staying (myself and my husband and his brother and his wife )we got a fantastic welcome from the italian owners theresa and giorgio who i might add did not speak much english or us much italian but nothing was any trouble , they went out of their way to help us in any way they could and their family were lovely two grown up daughters who also worked and made us feel very much at home . we were quite surprised at the bar bill at the end of our holiday as we had drinks every night of our seven night stay and we thought it should have been a lot more, we picked a little bit more italian from the owners as they were more than willing to help us all the time. to top it all when we left we were presented with a bottle of red wine for the men and for the ladies a lovely bottle of lemon chello. we love the holiday and the warm hospitality made it even better, although there are restraunts nearby a car is a must to get around and go a bit further for meals and sight seeing . sirmioni is lovely but again unless you want to walk for an hour like we did you really do need to have a car, we do intend to return to the area again and i think we would stay again at the bolero.

Nice place with alot of neat art on the walls. Very helpful staff even though they spoke little English and us, little Italian. Room size was OK for our two nights, but not spacious.

The family who run the hotel were very welcoming. The room was compact but clean. The gardens were very well-tended and peaceful, and the pool a good size for a small hotel. Breakfasts were excellent - plenty of choice. The hotel also has bikes to borrow as Sirmione itself is a few miles away, though a pleasant cycle ride along the lakeside. Across the road from the Hotel is the Lugana Lido - where the lake is shallow and suitable for paddling/ swimming. There are a number of restaurants on the main road through Lugana. Overall we couldn't fault the hotel.

Dommage que cette belle chambre n'ait pas été propre... pour ce type d'hotel et le prix, il nous semble que c'est le minimum. Tout le reste était conforme aux indications du site et nuos a convenu (confort, accueil, petit déjeuner agréables).

We spent a very pleasant stay (4 days, end of July) in this family-run hotel located close to Sirmione which can be reached in 15/20 mn by bicycle available free of charge from the hotel avoiding traffic jam and expensive car park. They only speak a few words of English or French but they are very charming. Breakfast is delicious and the swimming pool very useful during the warm summer days !

Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Grazie!

We used the Hotel Bolero as a base to explore the area around Lake Garda staying for a week towards the end of September, 2004. This is a small family run hotel set in a quiet position approximately 50 metres from the main road into Sirmione, which unfortunately is too far away to walk to comfortably, although the local bus stops close by. The hotel has more objet d'art on display than an average art gallery, and guests can expect quality service with nothing being too much trouble. The rooms are all individually decorated and are absolutely spotless with bedding changed every day. Breakfast was first rate with a wide choice centred on a a plate of freshly cut cured ham and local cheese. We tended to get back to the hotel late afternoon to sit in the quiet garden and soak up the sun around the pool before ordering a G&T or wine, from the owners well kept cellar. Every drink came with a feast of olives, pickles and crisps. Overall we cannot speak too highly of the staff at the hotel and really felt part of the family by the end of the week. We can thoroughly recommend the Hotel Bolero to all those looking for a small quiet hotel with attentive service.

Very friendly and welcoming Hotel. Rooms were cleaned and towels replaced every day. Breakfast was good also. Made to feel at home especially with the children. The room was a bit cramped but only as we had two children and one was in a cot, still a very nice room. The owners could not do enough for you. I would definitely give the hotel another visit.

A really interesting Hotel. Each room featured a mural by the local painter Simo Nygren. The rooms were small but tastefully furnished. A sizable pool in pretty grounds. Great for children. The only drawback was the distance from Sirmione if you want to walk - about an hour at a fairly steady pace. However the lake was just over the road and the hotel was conveniently near numerous restaurants. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming despite our lack of language. We would consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bolero. We liked the fact that it was a small family run Hotel and, during our stay, we were treated almost as part of the family and they could not do enough for us. We will definitely be back.

This family run hotel is excellent all round. Even though the proprietors did not speak English they were the most helpful and pleasant couple imaginable. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone wishing an enjoyable relaxing stay at Lake Garda.

Free access to bicycles was a welcome surprise. Location of hotel a bit further from the peninsula than expected, but in a nice quiet location near shops and restaurants/bus routes. Very nice family run and homely environment. Very pleasant staff.

A wonderful hotel with fantastic service. However, poorly located in relation to our expectations, being 4km outside Sirmione township and as such over-priced for location reasons. Also none of the staff could speak English despite the site information suggesting they did.
