Hotel Cavalieri - Siracusa

Everything was excellent, very pleasant staff and family. Giuseppe at the desk is very professionnal, kind and helpful. I can recommend this hotel to anyone with no fear of being disappointed

This hotel is very good indeed, if a little expensive. The family that operates it does a really excellent job and goes out of its way to make one's stay pleasant. The hotel is easy to find from the road and has a very good location for visiting the tourist areas of Ortygia and the archeological area, and as a base for car touring of the area around Syracuse. There's street parking in front of the hotel, and the hotel staff reserves a couple of spaces for guests.

A gem of a boutique hotel, reasonably priced, friendly management and staff.Great location, within easy walking distant of Ortigia Island and the archeological sites. One of the nicest hotels I ever stayed at in Italy!

We found the hotel with no problems and the charming owner moved her own car so we could park right in front of the hotel. Everything was immaculate, the room was comfortable and quiet and the breakfasts were wonderful. The decor was elegant and modern and carefully thought out. We were expecting an important e-mail and asked them to print it out and contact us, which they did as soon as it arrived. We were given great recommendations for places to eat, and the owners couldn't have been sweeter or nicer. While the hotel is on a main road, we had a quiet room facing the internal courtyard so heard no noise. I'd definitely stay here again if I come back to Siracusa.

Overall we were very pleased with this hotel. The room was clean, modern and spacious. The hotel is in an excellent location for walking to many of the sites. When we arrived they were having computer problems and couldn't check us in but we arrived early. When we came back a few hours later everything was fine. They were having problems with the sewer system but it didn't seem to have an impact on our stay except the toilet in the lobby wasn't working. Overall, we were very pleased with our visit.

Many good things to say about our stay - The hotel location is perfect. Its a 3 min walk to Ortigia with its historic buildings,restaurants and shops, its a 5 to 7 min walk from the bus and train station and a 20 min walk to the archaeological park.This family run hotel was beautifully designed by its architect owner, the rooms were immaculate and had lovely furnishings, bathrooms were contemporary and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were given some fantastic recommendations for places to eat/drink/visit.If we return to Syracuse, we will definitely be staying there again. Only draw back is that there is no mini bar or room service. Breakfast was good but just a cold buffet.

This hotel was beautiful and was close enough to the old town of Siracusa to walk comfortably. Our room was on the front of the hotel, but the double paned windows kept out the street noise. It would also have been possible to walk to the archaeological siter.

A true gem of a hotel and we will definitely hope to stay here again. Understated - but very high on quality in every area (design layout, comfort, breakfast buffet, ease of access to historic centre of Siracuse).

Very good hotel; good value for money, nice staff, good location, pleasant atmosphere and nicely decorated rooms (boutique style). Breakfast was very good too. We all had a good time and defenitely recommend this hotel.

There was only one drawback: there was a EUR 6 fee for bag storage. apart from that the place is very classy with friendly staff, easy parking and 5 min walking distance to the old town.

Excellent location. The hotel is in a renovated "palazzo", with large, clean and modern rooms.

Fantastic hotel. An exceptionally welcoming and helpful family run the hotel and they couln't do enough to help and advise us during our stay. Fantastic service, including an excellent breakfast. There are planty of restaurants nearby and the hotel is located just a short walk from Ortigia. We would gladly stay here again if visiting Sicily again.

Wir waren erstaunt ein Hotel dieser Qualität zu diesem Preis in Siracusa zu finden. Das Hotel schaut von aussen ein wenig nach einem alten Stadthotel aus. Es liegt an der Via Malta, einer der historischen Hauptstrassen von Siracusa. Von dem Hotel aus erreicht man in nur 5 Minuten die liebevoll restaurierte Altstadt, mit der Riva und vielen sehr guten Restaurants. Tortzdem ist sogar Parken in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels kein Problem! Das Hotel an sich kann man wohl kaum besser beschreiben als einfach nur geschmackvoll bis ins allerkleinste Detail. Es ist mit unglaublich viel Liebe eingerichtet und die Hoteliers vermittelten einem das Gefühl bei guten Freunden zu übernachten. Wir haben uns dort mehr als wohlgefühlt und möchten dieses Hotel daher auch allen Reisenden mit Sinn für Stil, Eleganz und Freundlichkeit wärmstens ans Herz legen.
