We were very friendly welcome, the morning meal was very good. The only disadvantage in the night were the barking dogs and mosquitoes.

The landlords are very welcome and frendly people. We spent wonderful time in Siracusa and it was unforgetable stop of our european trip. The hotel is little bit far away from the center, but it it in very quiet and peaceful area.

Our room was in what looked like an extension of the actual house. It was very dark inside and the illumination was very poor. Besides from the bathroom came a bad smell. We stayed there for 4 nights and every night a couple of dogs were barking. The breakfast was reasonable.

Hotel Aldebaran is a quiet family-run hotel in rural surroundings. The room is basic but clean. The site is situated about 6-7 km to Siracusa centre, so a car is necessary. It is close to the highway junction, we used it as a basis to visit Siracusa and the southern baroque towns. The landlady was friendly and helpful.

The B&B is a country house, with swimming pool and great surroundings. If you go to Siracusa with a car, is perfect! It was not very easy to find the place, but then, it was great for relaxing!!

This guest house is situated out of town in a very rural area, approx ten minutes drive from the town itself. Finding it in the dark was a problem but the effort was well worth it. The feel is very laid back and simple with an aire of tranquility. However, this was broken early in the morning by the neighbours rather annoying dog! The lady of the house was totally charming and made us feel very much at home. The dinner she prepared for us was most welcome and saved us the trouble of driving back into town to find a restaurant. If you are in the area, give this place a try and don't forget to give a cuddle to 'Fortunello' - the host families rather affectionate cat. He is crazy but all too cute....:-)

This is a peacefull and secure place. I recommand this Hotel for people having a car and want to visit syracuse. Excellent breakfast !
