Lawrence's Hotel - Sintra

Lovely hotel in lovely surroundings. Overall an very pleasing experience, and in my opinion the best value hotel in magical Sintra.

Outstanding in every way. Privacy in public spaces. Charm, character & elegance. Beautiful rooms and surroundings. The restaurant served the best food we had in Portugal. A fantastic launching point for Sintra and the surrounding areas.

Lawrences is a beautiful hotel and exactly as i had hoped. Only minor complaint was staff on arrival polite but not over friendly. However evening staff were superb and bent over backwards to accomadate us and were very friendly. i would definately return to Lawrences if i came back to Sintra.

One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff, the rooms, the grounds, the BREAKFAST - all were wonderful and surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in Eden -- and it was heavenly. Wonderful little balcony that felt like living in a treehouse. This is not the place to stay if you want glitz and glamour -- it is cozy, charming, romantic, and unique -- not quite like any place I've ever stayed. Loved it!

This hotel has a wonderful reputation in Sintra, and we were not disappointed. A very charming place. We had dinner at the restaurant, and enjoyed wonderful service. The breakfast was also lovely.

The staffs were very kind!! We used 2 rooms and the room designs were different. My daughters took long time to choose their room as both rooms were so nice. The restaurant was also very nice. We really enjoyed the dinner with the nice meal and excellent staffs.

This is a lovely, historic hotel with great service. Our room was small, which was my biggest complaint. They also need to improve the lighting in the hotel, because there is no place to read after dark. Each room should have a reading lamp of some sort. The hotel is charming and clean, but they should upgrade the towels, bed linens and pillows for the price. The breakfast is quite wonderful and the restaurant is truly lovely. For dinner, the restaurant is quite the gourmet affair. Not inexpensive, but quite good with excellent service and all the trimmings of fine dining. Try it. By the way, the location couldn't be better and Sintra is heavenly.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. Rooms were lovely and the common areas were fabulous. Located in the middle of a magical town, our stay there was a highlight of our trip to Portugal. Highly recommended.

Great location - very close to all of the tourist attractions around Sintra. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast very good.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and courteous. My wife was not feeling well on arrival and they went out of their way to do what they could to make our stay more comfortable. We enjoyed dinner in the the restaurant and would recommend the Lawrence Hotel as an essential to the Sintra experience.

Lovely hotel with very good service. Staff welcoming and polite. Breakfast was good though no hot food is served. Had afternoon tea. Our rooms were large and comfortable; convenient location in Sintra, We would return to and highly recommend Lawrence's.
