The Hotel VIP Miramonte is surrounded by fresh air, the green of the pine-woods, and the tranquility of the Serra de Sintra.
The building is between the secular town of Colares (known for his wine), and the beautiful Praia das Maçãs, ideal for surf and body board lovers, close to the picturesque village of Azenhas do Mar.

Both room and bath were clean well kept and above 2star standard. The site was easy to find as it is on the main road and therefore a bit of traffic noise. Insufficient parking spaces - but then they cater a lot for group bookings. A good addition to the room would be a kettle, coffee & tea. Our room was in the main building so we had some noise from the bar area till the bar closed. Evening meal good 12 Euro, breakfast adequate. What bothered me most was that the staff were always sourfaced. A smile goes a long way for any guest especially one who has had a tiring drive. Also it is what is expected at a hotel. 2 star is adequate for this one.

Not quite as close to Sintra as indicated on the site, not recommended unless you have a car. Clean rooms but building works going on in the reception area prevented us from using the restaurant/meals area. Quite good for the price considering

Für Besichtgung von Sintra und Umgebung gut geeignet, in fünf Minuten am Strand, Pool und Liegewiese erholsam, Frühstück ausreichend.

I parcheggi disponibili dell'hotel sono circa 5, ed in zona l'unico posto dove poter parcheggiare è sui marciapiedi e se si trova posto. Per andare a mare occorre l'auto. L'accoglienza non è stata delle migliori e la colazione non è compresa nel costo.

This was the first time at hotel Vip Miramonte, at the beginning our booking wasn't arrived ad the reception but anyway there were rooms available so it was no problems. The only thing that I point as negative is that there are only few parking for cars in front of the hotel, so if you arrive by car expect to have to park it somewhere along the street (anyway you'll find easly a place) and have a little walk.
