V Hotel Lavender - Singapore

Even though rooms are not so spacious, they are comfortable, clean, and modern. A full breakfast is included in the open terrace.The hotel is in a very good position on the line to the airport and close to downtown. You can buy a tourist card at the airport and you can go wherever you want with all public transports

The rooms are quite small, but you got what you've paid. It's an expensive city, and I won't throw $300 for a room that I use only for max 8 hrs a day. The shower cubicle's size maybe a bit tiny for a big guy or westerners, but for typical Asian like me it's just fine. Overall, a decent hotel for a short stay. It's next to Lavender MRT station, so mobility is never a problem.

You don't have a section to grade the facilities in the rooms. 1] No soap 2] Light switches at desk, none at all by beds 3] no bedside reading lights 4] shower design faulty - puddle forms over bathroom floor and shower head non-adjustable in height or angle 5] not nearly enough storage, should be at least three times as many drawers 6] not enough hangers in wardrobe. In all, inadequate for a couple staying for more than one night and no-one seems to have tested or thought much about the design.

Excellent budget hotel. Perfect location to use metro direct from Changi airport ..undercover all the way. Metro line continues a few stops into all main central city locations, and is user-friendly. For price, the rooms are good value, small but well designed with ample window-seat space for luggage. Modern and clean. Tea and coffee facilities, complimentary bottled water, small fridge. Desk staff excellent. We had a late flight out, and they gave us an extended check-out, luggage storage and use of the 4th floor pool area until our departure. Well situated for western and local food near the lobby, a convenience store nearby, and for breakfast a fresh fruit stall and bakery adjacent to hotel lobby. Large food hall 500 metres away. Downside was noisy guests in the corridors, and the only public lounge areas are the lobby or open-sided pool area. Very large people may find the shower a challenge to use.
