We are New Zealanders, but booked our transit night from Italy. We were pleasantly suprised at the character of the hotel, nicer than a high rise faceless typical hotel in Singapore. It was well situated for my trips to the remaining character parts of the city and for my husband to look at the electronics hubs. We would stay here again.

This hotel is well located. It's very close to Little India. Great curries and other food. The staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed overnight and had a 6.00pm check-out. The room was comfortable and clean. Would stay there again.

I found that when I arrived at midnight on the 10/4/09, after a 12 hour flight from Australia. I was pressured into paying for my accomadation in full there and then. When quitre clearly on your booking confirmation it said that theaccomidation would be paid for at the end of our stay. I only had S$250.00 on th, and the girl receptionist told me that if I had not paid in full by 12 Midday the next day I would be looked out of my room. I paid in full by 11.00am the next day, and my card had been cancelled. They did agree to give my party a com breakfast. I found all the fees very expensive for everything. Nothing was done without a charge. I feel that a Late check out room should be given without charge for quests leaving on late flights not at $80.00 they quoted me for a late check out.

We loved the stay at Albert Court although we were in transit and only went there to sleep before getting a flight early in the morning. Because of this we found the hotel expensive. We didn't eat there for the same reason. In all fairness we had just had a month in Thailand so everything seemed expensive. The staff were lovely, efficient, helpful and very charming. The location was great. We didn't really have any correspondance before booking because it was very last minute.

Good location, close to MRT, Little India, shopping etc. Room was good except for bathroom which was very mouldy and smelt. Main problem was overcharging for time not spent at the hotel ( still not resolved) and charge of $20 per day for room service not used.

Hotel is very convenient to bus and MRT. Little India location makes it good for excellent restaurants (Banana Apollo, Kashmir), to publs (Prince of Wales) and for shopping (Sim Lum Center, Rochor, Arab Quarter). Can walk down to the quays in about 45 minutes. Only significant problem is that the drains smelled--which may be due to location near canal. This is not luxurious, but it was a good value. The internet service is very slow and expensive and sometimes did not work, you are better off going into Little India where there are many internet cafes.

Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

One night penalty charge will be imposed for late cancellations or no- shows. Full payment is required upon reservation and cancellations / short stay or no show made between 26-27 September 2009 (all dates inclusive) are non refundable.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 2 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
