Apogeo Motel - Bettolle, Sinalunga

The hotel is very well situated ,close to the highway exit and a nice outlet mall. We arrived on a very hot afternoon and really appreciated the pool. The staff was really nice. On the down side, although the room and bedroom were clean the bed were really firm (feels like you are sleeping on a board) and you have the feeling that this place should have been renovated 10 years ago.

Nice hotel adjacent to autostrada. Equipped with restaurant, conference facilities and pool complex. Staff were very friendly but too busy multi-tasking. The same person was responsible for the front desk as well as waiting on tables in the restaurant. The hotel could use a major overhaul, though, as everything is in need of updating.

Stay away, stay away, stay away. This was one of the dirtiest hotel we've ever stayed. Dirty room, dirty restaurant, dirty "EVERYTHING". Furniture were old and semi-broken. Not enough electrical plugs to charge phone, pda, laptop, etc. Lovely swimming pool featured on the pictures was closed, aparently due to the bad weather (it was sunny, +25C!), no mentioning of the pool closure on the website. Friday night there was a loud disco till 4:00am on the hotel premisses, obviously nobody bother to mentioned that a night before. Restaurant offers good meals, but the choice is limited to beef, beef, beef, and variery of pastas. They charge you "cover fee" of 3 euro per person per meal. This may be ok for restaurant guests, but charging hotel guests same fee is an outrage. Few positives (it's really hard to find them, but I try to be objective). Location: close to major h-wy. Friendly staff speaking some english. Free bottle of local wine on depurture. Overall - not recommended, there are a lot of hotels in the aread looking better, and probably cleaner.
