Hotel Residenza d'Epoca Locanda di San Martino - Siena

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our three night stay in Siena! The room (404) was quite large, the bathroom immaculate, and they even have REAL terrycloth towels -- big ones -- which is rare in Italy, we found. We were on the fourth floor and found ourselves using the new (and very slow) lift at the end of each day: much appreciated after walking for miles every day. We didn't use the tv, the internet worked great, and the breakfast was similar to what we had in other italian hotels. (lots of cakes, pastries, etc. but also yogurt and ham and cheese and coffee). This hotel is very central, just a couple of blocks from the Campo and we enjoyed it very much! Comfortable beds, too. Not as soft as we like, but not rock hard either (like some other hotels.) Recommend highly!

Vanessa was a very good help greeting us late at night and wanting to assure we were comfortable. All other staff were also very helpful and the location was excellent - right in town to walk anywhere quickly.

We felt welcome & comfortable. Good bathroom and air con. New (tiny) lift very much appreciated for luggage to our room.No fault of hotel but had some noisy people in street during night. We would book again.

Beautiful room. Nice shower, bathroom even had a heated towel rack. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hostess greeted us in front of the hotel when we arrived at night so we could find the place easily; gave us restaurant reccomendations. Good selection of breakfast items served in room on second floor. Free wifi. Easy walk to il Campo and everyplace else. Would stay there again.

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights in early March. It was very cold in Toscany though the hotel room was warmed perfectly! All hotel staff always tried giving us excellent service. One of the hotel staff was kind enough to answer my poor Italian during my breakfast. We enjoyed a lot exploring and staying in Siena! Many thanks.

Lovely little hotel located within walking distance to the main attractions. Excellent service,the owners could not be more friendly and helpful. Room was a little dated in furnishings and not overly large, but excellent value for money. Overall we enjoyed our 2 night stay.

The room was lovely with sitting area too! lovely decor, great location and v helpful hotel staff member-Roberto...whose english was good despite his apologies for it not being so!

The hotel is a gem - right in the heart of Siena, and beautiful old details and decoration. Beds a little soft. Street noise, but mostly noticeable because so quiet otherwise. Guest internet was not working.

A lovely small hotel, very handy for the Campo and the centre of Siena but on a quiet street.

Un très bel hôtel avec un bon accueil, de jolies petites chambres et un très bon petit déjeuner. Situé à 10 minutes maximum à pied de la Piazza Del Campo. Les chambres sont fraîches, ce qui est idéal en été. Je le recommande vivement.
