Room with balcony facing the entrance of the hotel, not very conducive to sitting out. We tried to have a meal in the Italian restaurant but it was closed both nights of our stay. We ate in the buffet restaurant and found the hot food was in fact cold and the meat was either tough or undercooked. Not what we expected for a four star hotel. We advised the maitre D who organised for us to have a free drink in the bar. The hotel appears to be catering for tours/business people or guests who eat out. The pool looked lovely but was not suitable for poor swimmers due to the depth. The children's pool was fenced off during our stay.

The room was very small and doesn't have windows so the room was very poor of light. The location is out of center so if you haven't got a car is not useful to visit the city center. The garden with the swimming pool is ok but I wanted to do some gym but the machines were just 3 and only cardio machine. Very poor the installation of the fitness center.

Went stayed in the hotel with my partner for a pass by. The hotel is a standard 4 star hotel, with most facilities, it is categories as health hotel, however, the gym only has a run mill. The location is far from the centre of Seville. Taxi is around £7-£10 to the centre, for short stay, I wouldn't recommend the hotel at all, but for family holidays or weddings and events this could be a good choice.

It was the 1st time my husband & I had stayed at this hotel, it will not be the last. There was one very small problem in that the shower head would not stay up, other than that everything was excellent from staff to accommodation and meals in the restaurant.

The hotel is very large with huge public spaces. Our room (2nd floor) was very nice, in an excellent condition, but not very large, as you would expect from such a hotel. Breakfast was exceptional, in choice, quantity and quality! Service was very good. We were helped very much by a young receptionist, Rocio, who assisted with our airline check in, and we are thankful for her patience and attention! We traveled with a car and there was no need to pay for hotel parking since there always were free parking spaces nearby. Overall, a very positive experience.

It's a nice hotel, but far from downtown. ( taxi costs $6-12 ) Room has a good size, with comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast is amazing! If you have a car, dont need to use the parking of hotel. It's easy to find a place to stop the car in the street.

It a very nice hotel, the location is not central in the city. Since I was going for work that was not relevant. Nice rooms, tv, bathroom, breakfast. Although they have free wifi, this one is as slow as a modem connection in 1994.

Nice hotel but showing some signs of wear and tear. Staff very helpful and friendly. Quite a distance from the centre of Seville but as a number 34 bus stops near the hotel not too much of a problem (fare 1.20 Euros).

The hotel is beautiful and very professionally run, it has good facilities and is set in lovely grounds a short taxi ride from Seville. The only let down for us was the lack of choice with restaurants, and the fact that Spain ignore the no smoking inside laws, so it can get a bit cloudy in the bars.

The best/biggest buffet ever met! and some days of the week it is even cheaper... The hotel is rather far from town center but easily accessible with bus 38 (if you stay a few days buy a "tarjeta multiviaje" in tobacco shops for a 10 trips card, usable by 2 people)

The hotel is very comfortable, modern and well maintained. We got a special price so it was excellent value. It is not well located for tourism, seemly more designed for the convention business. The pool hours are silly - Sevilla is very hot in sumer but the pool does not open until late (maybe 10?) and closes early (maybe 9?). The result is that you can only use the pool when it is baking hot. We did not use it one - very disappointing since it is one of the important attractions.

We'd like to thank the lady who said in her review that she'd been to this hotel 5 years running. Now we can see why. It's a lovely hotel. with great facilities and helpful staff - but without that dreadful "poshness' that afflicts so many otherwise lovely hotels. This hotel is a five minute taxi ride from the city centre. Seville is a fabulous city and I don't think being in the old city centre would be a hardship. But because this hotel is on the outskirts of town, everything (including your room) is much more spacious. It's well worth going for a balcony room. Not because of the balcony (which is OK, but nothing special) but because you get free access to the "Club Room" with free coffee, snacks and fresh-pressed orange juice all day (and most of the night). Outside the gardens are fine and the pool is really big. The garden is beside a fairly busy road, but well set back and screened by trees - so not really a problem. Perhaps the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at.

This is a very good hotel for easy access to airport and intercity routes. Plenty of parking outside the hotel and a residential area away from the hubbub of the city. For those interested having the main attractions within walking distance, it is a bit far. All in all, a nice place to stay.

The Silken Al Andalus presented superior quality acccommodation for the two night stay of my wife and myself. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was also quite large. The hotel had several restaurants and we had an enjoyable dinner in their Italian restaurant. The cafe also provided excellent coffee and midday snacks. The buffet breakfastswere also quite good. The reception staff were a little impersonal but most efficient. The concierge staff were friendly and most helpful in booking an evening at a flamenco restaurant for us. The only downside was that the hotel was a little remote from the centre of town. Too far to walk, but only a short cab ride away. Overall, a hotel of quality were we enjoyed our stay which was all to brief.

We stayed in both a normal double, and one night in an executive double. At the rates available here it is a bargain, but their "rack" rate is much higher. Walkable to Seville center, but there is a bus service just around the corner which is clean quick and cheap, should you prefer not to. Note as well that the pool closes the second week of September. Not sure when it reopens in the Spring.

Overall, this hotel was great for our needs. We basically used this hotel as a stop-over two times while in Spain. Although the hotel is a little far from the city centre, we had a car so it was not a problem. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was our first trip to Sevilla and we arrived on Good Friday and stayed through Easter Sunday. The city was very busy with holiday visitors. We felt fortunate to have booked reservations at this hotel for a 3-day minimum stay. Directions to the hotel for arrival by car from Granada were excellent. One of the bellmen/concierge staff went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us return the rental car. Taxi service was excellent to the downtown area, though the bus services may have been equally good.

We stayed in this lovely hotel on a bed and breakfast basis because we intended to sample the cuisine in tapas bars and restaurants in the evening. The breakfast was one of the best ever - beautiful selection of fresh fruit, cereals, perfect eggs and a variety of breads. Wish we had had our evening meal here because compared to the hotel, food in town was a disappointment. We walked into town but would reccommend getting a bus or taxi. Taxi was a bit steep coming back (14euros) Later the piano player soothed us as we put up our feet and sipped drinks in the lounge.

Ideal location if travelling to Seville by car (especially from the Costa del Sol). Easy access into central Seville, around 5 euro by taxi or 1 euro each by bus. Would have been good to have breakfast included in the price, but at 60 euro per room per night for this quality hotel, who's complaining? Nice gardens, pool area and bar for relaxing when exhausted by the sightseeing. I believe this is only open in high season.

Good value for money. We stayed at the Silken Al Andalus from 1st March 06 - 3rd March 06 and found it to be a very nice hotel. We paid for room only and had breakfast as an added extra on the first morning, however at 12.50 euros each, I would recommend you try somewhere else in the city for better value for money / selection. Good selection of bars at the hotel and a nice outdoor pool (although it was too cold to swim in given the time of year)Would recommend this hotel and although not in the very centre of Seville, very accessible as there are always taxis outside and it costs only approx 5 euros each way. Seville itself is very nice with lots of places of interest, we went mid week so it was pretty quiet although you could see the place starting to come alive on the Friday afternoon. An enjoyable stay - would go back again!

An ideal location for Seville City. Easy access into the old quarter on local bus or by taxi, even walkable if the weather is not too hot.

There is a thing I would like to state here: the price presented is not including VAT neither breakfast. Spain (as far I know) is the unique country in Europe that does not include breakfast in the price. Ok, I considered the price low and more 7% of VAT is not too much but I do not like this kind of surprises. Another thing: I consider the hotel very well located but only for car holders... otherwise, it seems to be far way to go by walk to the center. Cheers!

Original room allocated was facing internal patio on ground floor. had little natural light, and curtains would have to remain closed if you did not want to be observed from the patio. Was finally allocated an outside ground floor room very spacious with a balcony and separate seating area. When we complained about the bath water not flowing away quickly it took two days to fix. TV only had one workable English-language channel. Sound-proofing rather poor.
