Great location for a hotel of this price. Desk guys were not overly friendly, but they did try to answer our questions about how to get around, etc. Some street noise, but not bad when windows were closed. Nice-sized closet for storage. Wifi worked in lobby and hallway, but not in our room.

Small, clean room in small hotel overlooking narrow street in centre of Seville close to Arts museum. No hot water, TV not working. Only in hotel for overnight stay. Uncomfortable bed. No account taken of lack of facilities in hotel prices charged. NOTE: PARKING IS NOT AT THE HOTEL BUT IN PUBLIC CAR PARK 8-10 MINUTE WALK FROM HOTEL & CHARGEABLE SEPARATELY!

Overall decor was beautiful. Location is good as well - parking is at a public garage where discount is available through the hotel. My only complaint is that the tile floor in the room was not very clean - it could have used a thorough damp mop and had maybe been swept. Staff was friendly, etc.

I booked two single rooms, but when I checked in I got only a double room, on the hotel hall, facing the road just in front of a cafe open till late. The room was also very close to the hotel cafe machine. We could not sleep the whole night. The following nights we got another double room, but never a single room.

Hotel decore was nice but staff were not at all friendly and shower was difficult to use. would have been better paying less and staying in a 'pension', b&b or backpackers, at least the staff would have cracked a smile and had a chat! They made you feel as though you were in the way!

Was given a very very small room with a rather uncomfortable double bed. The room was on the ground floor facing the street and was constantly noisy. The air conditioning unit was decades older than myself and contributed significantly to the noise. The Aircon was located behind the curtains. The aircon didn't work. The hotel staff were unfriendly and not at all helpful... Terrible sleep and poor value for money! Room could have been cleaner... Overall disappointing...

A great little hotel, lack of restaurant made the breakfast venture each morning a challenge, especially with the New Years holdiay impact to other places. Our first room was noisy but they changed our room without complaint. A great bargain and easy to find...the description should be changed to indicate that parking is about 3 blocks away at a public underground parking facility which gives a discount for hotel stays.

Hotel Zaida was a great hotel for the location and price. My husband is quite tall and did not fit on the bed, but he has had that problem at other European hotels too. The room could have been cleaner, but it was not dirty. The common areas of the hotel were very nice. Overall, it was a good hotel for the budget traveler.

On our recent first visit to Sevilla, my wife and I stayed in a double room at Zaida. It was quiet and spacious; however, the floor was not clean, especially near the bed. The bed itself was not that comfortable either. The hotel is quite close to the Plaza de Armas bus station, and a 15-20 minute walk from the Catedral/Alcazares area. Overall, we give Zaida a lukewarm recommendation. It's an OK place, but we have stayed in better places (for less money) in different Spanish cities, so we suspect there may be better deals available in Sevilla as well.

The hotel is very nice. The mudejar style that it is decorated in is very appealing to the eye. The only thing we had to say was that it was loud. Our room faced the street and since these streets are so narrow, it seems all the sound bounces off the walls and is amplified. Also, with cars going down the old cobble stone streets, the sound of the rubber turning on the stones is also very loud. Overall, however, it was a great stay, the hotel is very close to the shopping district and nothing is more that a 10-15 minute walk. Staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean.

The Zaida is a well located, comfortable hotel of a good, basic standard. It's definitely no frills, but provided a comfortable and convenient option for Seville during Semana Santa. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I would have given a better rating for Quality vs. price had it not been a triple rate, as with practically all the hotels in Seville during Holy Week. That said, two of the major processions came within yards of the hotel, so the location could hardly have been better.

Four of us booked in the Zaida. It is excellent value for money and well-placed for walking to all the main tourist sites. It is situated up a little alley which is rather dingy, but the hotel itself is very clean and has everything you would expect from a budget hotel. To pay so little for a hotel so near the centre was quite amazing! There is a small cafe just a few yards away where you can get a very good breakfast and other meals. The only slight downside was that the man behind the desk at the hotel, although very efficient, was not particularly friendly. Otherwise, it was a very good budget base from which to explore this delightful city.

Hotel Zaida is in an excellent central location. We stayd in Room 231, which faced the back of the building and was super quiet. We also did not hear any neighbors (we are very noise sensitive, so we pay attention to those kinds of things). The room was spacious compared to similarly-priced hotels and very clean. The bathroom has been recently renovated and was in an excellent condition. Overall, this was an excellent hotel, especially for only 60 euros. We would definitely stay there again.

We were comfortable with our room for first few days. Then we noticed that a drain smells really bad and it gets worse every time we use the bath room (even flowed). The bed-making was okay but the didn't sweep the floor very well. The hotel clerks are very friendly. Even though they don't speak English, they tried their best to help us reading maps, make a reservation for Flamenco show, etc. We were advised by Venere.com customer service to use the confirmation message as a voucher. When we checked in the hotel, we realized that the message only shows the date, hotel name, and an E-mail address (not a customer's name). It would be nice if there is an actual Voucher page that we can print out and bring it to a hotel.

The rate on Venere was 60 euros which is 20 per cent higher than the rate on the card at the reception. I kept wondering which other hotels I had booked on Venere was charging much higher than published rate. That said, it was a very pretty hotel with colourful tilework on the walls and tasteful furnishing. The gentleman who let us in was also very kind to let us have the room so early in the morning (8am) since we were exhausted having travelled to Seville on an overnight bus. They were quite full so we would have been turned away without reservations. The room we got was next to a quiet street which meant you can hear even heels clicking on the the cobblestones outside. Bring earplugs. I had a pleasant stay thanks to the lovely gentleman who let us in early to rest.

Would usually stay in a room in a Hostel but had trouble finding any available. This was a good substitute and only a little more expensive. A nice location if you're not concerned with being on top of the Giralda as there's lots going on near by, including the Triana area, which is fun. Nice and quiet in the rooms though as the Hotel's on a quiet back street. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is located in a narrow street near the main shopping area of Sevilla. The first impression is friendly and small. The hall is cosy but with a touch of neglect. A number of the rooms are around a light shaft and have no proper windows. So take care you get a room around the main hall. the rooms are clean and have a bathroom with tub and good plumbing. The furniture is basic. If you come to sevilla to enjoy the nightlife, Zaida is an excellent choice.
