Catering for the more mature or semi retired well to do people who are in Seville for short breaks. Hotel overall is good in excellent location near Catherdral and AlCazar. Lots of Tapas bars nearby in historic district. Room a bit noisy otherwise i recommend.

I stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is beautiful, however the service was not great for a hotel of that level. 1: the room was never ready before 2.30 or 3pm. The summer is too hot in Seville and one needs a rest after lunch. 2: no info about the hotel services in the room. 3: TV didn't work properly 4: no brochures available

We have positive & negative comments. Lets start with the latter ones: 1) We are sorry not have been informed in the Reservation Summary that TV & Internet services were not included in prices. By the way, all services provided are relatively very expensive (TV, Internet, Breakfast, Minibar, etc.). 2) Floor rooms are no carpeted and very cold in winter time, but no sandals (pantufas) are provided. 3) Do not expect to sleep after 7-8 am. Lots of noisy comes from hall and neigbors rooms. As positive points: 1) Attendants are very polite. 2) Hotel is indeed well located. 3) We asked for extended check-out and have been promptly attended.

This hotel exceeded all descriptions and expectations -- great location, very friendly and helpful staff, great room, beautiful facility, and very fair price. We recieved an upgraded 'superior' room -- it was a large 2 floor suite with bedroom in loft. Only point -- ask for help on working the remote-controlled air conditioning -- its not that obvious. Will stay here on future trips and recommend to all friends.

Great location. Welcoming and friendly staff. Quiet location and rooms (we were at the back). Service good. Didn't bother with the breakfast, so can't comment; plenty of cafes locally. Not a 'touristy' hotel, which suited us. Wardrobe space a bit mean. Loved Seville even though the weather was awful (worst winter for 70 years). Would go there again and use this hotel.

The hotel is very nice and well located in the centre, warm and welcoming. The downside is the room was at the front and was very noisy in early morning due to laundry collections, dustbin men etc

A hidden jewel of a place to stay - excellent location in quiet side street with great range of bars, cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Wonderful lobby - just the place to arrive when late in the day. Then just get to the roof top terrace bar and restaurant for good food and view second to none. Helpful staff, good service and great surroundings. Only criticism is the cost of breakfast 15euro each is high but the setting is probably worth it. Definitely would stay again.

Unfortunately the rooftop terrace restaurant was spoiled by the noise and close proximity of the aircon unit to the tables, so we decided to go into town to eat. Otherwise, everything was very good. A quality hotel in the heart of the city and close to everything. Would definitely return.

Excellent location near the Cathedral, with a difficult access to this back street, made worse by extensive street renovations at the time of our visit. Quiet, pleasant centre hall-patio in ground floor, extends to all floors. Access to rooms on successive floors in corridors around this atrium. This creates a fresh atmosphere, distinctively cooler than the street, an important feature in summer. Comfortable, spotless room with comfortable bathroom. One day-stay did not allow for assessment of service.

A beautiful property in a historic palace with lots of character, a lovely atrium (but some furniture a bit worn out) and rooftop restaurant (with view of Giralda). Good location about 10 minutes walk from Giralda. We had a quiet room with a quaintly shaped bathroom (which was the highlight), both rooms overlooked a light shaft only - the lack of view from the room was a disappointment. Also, no comfortable furtniture to sit on. A lovely property that needs more attention to a regular maintenance to retain its 4-star quality. If it takes care of this, I would loev to return. The hop-on-off bus in Sevilla is a big disappoointment, not much to see.

We had a wonderful time in your hotel. The meal we had on the last night was particularly memorable. The food was very good (a little expensive) and the view of the cathedral behind us superb. The waiters were terrific The waiting staff were good but a little slow at times on other occassions but all in all they were friendly, smart and efficient. There were places all around to eat also and great tapas bars and places for breakfast. The location is ideal. My colleague and I loved our room looking over the courtyard and the air conditioning was just right particularly as the temperatures were (42+. Thank you for the use of the facilities were we could store our cases before we left Seville in the evening. Thanks for a great holiday; Lesley Lilley

The hotel was situated in the old town in a very interesting location amongst very narrow and winding streets. It was difficult to find by car, but our GPS amazingly got us there! The hotel was very pretty and charming. The staff were pleasant and accomodating, they had prebooked a flamenco show and had everything ready for us. They handled our car parking very well. What was amazing about the staff is that we actually forgot cash and valuables in the hotel room safe, and it was kept for us and returned to us back home. We sincerely appreciate their honesty and efficiency.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Vincci La Rabida. In fact, when we were in Madrid, we checked with other Vincci La Rabida hotels for our next visit to Spain. The Hotel Vincci La Rabida is an excellent hotel. Right in the middle of Seville with easy acces to all amenities. It was difficult to find due to the one way system and narrow streets. The Hotel is beautiful. The Fountains and decor really make this hotel special. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Staff were helpful. They upgraded us for no extra cost, we ended in a suite so nice, we were tempted to stay in the hotel rather than see the sights of Seville. Breakfast was expensive, however there are other places to eat near the hotel.

This hotel is extremely well-located and absolutely beautiful. We felt that we were in Spain with the incredible lobby and, at the same time, enjoyed all the "comfort" amenities we require in our room: AC(!), clean, fresh, bathroom w/toiletries, bathrobes etc. Our room even had a small patio off it! The roof-top bar and restaurant is spectacular although we did not eat/drink there as it opened after we'd left for the evening.

The hotel looks great, it is very close to many turist attractions, restaurants, ... I found the area quite safe although the hotel is situated on a back street. The rooms are very nice and have all modern amenities. Does not have swimming pool. However, some of the services are quite pricy(breakfast 16 euro/pp, internet 9 euro/day, etc). This was not an impediment as there are some very nice places where you can get some fantastic breakfast at half of that price(particularly arround the cathedral area). Saying this, I really enjoyed hotel Rabida, and Seville in general. If I will get other chance, I would chose the hotel again.

Once you have found the hotel you appreciate that it is in a good location for walking to the main sites, but it was not easy to find despite the directions from the hotel, multimap and several maps of Seville. When you find it you can pull up in front of the hotel and then the hotel porter takes the car to the car park for you. They ask for 20 minutes notice of when you want to leave to retrieve it for you. It costs 15 Euros. We asked if we could leave the car in the car park until 3pm after we checked out at 12 noon and that was fine, and they store your luggage for you in a room off reception. The hotel is excellent, beautiful modern rooms, beautiful courtyard, and lovely (but not cheap) rooftop restaurant. We didn't find a local restaurant that appealed so we ate at the hotel under the stars with a view of the cathedral. The food was excellent, but 200 euros for 4 incl wine, but with only 2 starters and 2 desserts. Breakfast was not included in the venere rate (and we didn't have any - I think it was 15 Euros), but overall, although it was not a cheap stay, it was good value for money for a hotel of this quality.

We enjoyed a wonderful short break at Vincci La Rabida. The entrance foyer is amazing! All the staff without exception were very friendly and welcoming. The quality of personal service was very good. The breakfast buffet is excellent. We also had dinner in the restaurant one evening, again excellent. The room was perhaps a little small for a 4 star hotel, but was clean, quiet and comfortable. The location of the hotel is first-rate for sightseeing, all the main historical attractions a few minutes walk away. Seville is a lovely place to visit, and the hotel made it a very enjoyable visit.

We had a horrible stay in this hotel. Don't be fooled by the entrance, which is quite nice. The room was horrible. We were in room 101 and based on a previous reviewer I immediately requested a different room. The people at the desk were rude and refused. Now I know why there was a warning. You need to take two elevators and five cooridors to end up in a dungeon like room next to either the kitchen or the laundry. Whatever it is, it is EXTREMELY LOUD. We were woken up at 5 AM. By 7 AM fumes were filling the room. Customer service was atrocious. We checked out before 8 AM.

A lovely hotel very close to the old centre of Seville. Public areas large and spacious, and the room we had being at the back was nice and quiet. An excellent spread for breakfast, but on the expensive side (we ate instead at a cafe round the corner). The only let down was the shortgage of staff on reception, were we had to queue too long both to checkin and checkout. Recommended and would stay here again.

Overall we were impressed with the hotel. It was a little difficult to find and more specific directions would have been helpful. The room was very pleasant, air conditioning effective and choice of pillows much appreciated! Staff were friendly. However there was a very limited food service available - mostly shut down for August- and this was inconvenient when we required a late lunch on arrival. The web site still mentions a roof top jacuzzi which I assume was the pile of rubble in the corner of the roof terrace. Access to water was one reason for selecting the hotel and when the temperature hit 47C it would have been appreciated. For this reason we didn't think the hotel merited its 4* rating. However overall our three night stay was enjoyable and comfortable and the hotel very conveniently located. We would stay again but probably not in August.

Hotel is in a great location, and quiet. Rooms were simple, but nice, and for the price a terrific value. The air conditioning did not work very well, and in the hot summer heat, it was a bit uncomfortable, but not unbearable. We were 2 couples travelling, one male couple, one female couple, and the female couple had a different experience with the hotel. They were ignored at the front desk, and when they did get attention, they felt condescended to and disrespected. Although we all tried to chalk it up to Spanish machismo, it was a bit upsetting.

The hotel looks like a 4-star hotel but in fact you get no better than a 3-star service. For example, the air conditioning did not work unless the door to the room was left open. All in all not a bad hotel, but look elsewhere if you want a proper 4-star hotel. A bit of advice - if offered a room from 101 through 105 ask for a different room.

This hotel is like an oasis. It is quiet, calm and beautiful. It is cool and very reasonable. It is also within walking distance of almost everything.

We were very pleased with the hotel. The beds were a little hard, but otherwise the facilities were quite nice. Great location, close to museums and other attractions - easy walking to Plaza del Sol, Prado, Palacio Real, etc. It was a little noisy but we expected that.

A delightful hotel, well situated for seeing the city. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Overall, it was an excellent weekend, and if I manage to get back to Seville would not hesitate to stay there again.

An excellent hotel that is spacious & clean, with lovely decor and in a prime position in the city. Easy to walk to all parts of the old city and near to the river, bullring, cathedral, and Palace and with great Tapas and restaurants and a cash machine close by. Good food and friendly, helpful staff. The traditional stone floors and surfaces and wooden ceilings make the central atrium area (and adjoining rooms) echo and a little noisy late at night and early in the morning. Highly recommended.

This hotel is amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful and in an incredible location. From the rooftop bar/restaurant, you have one of the best views of the cathedral I have ever seen. The rooms are spotless and the hotel employees are very friendly and helpful (they speak English too). I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. It is well priced too.

My wife and I were very pleased with the hotel and its location. The public rooms are spacious and comfortable - ideal for us to meet with our friends before going out. The location was very convenient - much better than indicated on the rather rudimentary maps provided.

Un bel et bon hôtel, confortable et d'apparence luxueuse. Peut-être encore un peu trop "neuf", ce qui laisse l'impression d'un endroit un peu artificiel. Mais c'était tout de même un séjour plus qu'agréable.

Great hotel. A little hard to find, but in the middle of Sevilla activities. Personnel were attentive and concerned - although few spoke English (hey its Spain). The day manager, Daniel, was very helpful. All of his recommendations were good - and his insites were valuable. Many nice amenities such as heated bathroom floor. Its four stars are well earned.

An excellent hotel! Right in the middle of everything. We recomend this for everyone who want to discover Sevilla by foot. But think twice befor having breakfast in the hotel, 12 euros was not a value for money.

Booking hotels over the Internet is always a little hit or miss. Fortunately this was definitely a hit. My wife and I stayed there for a five-day break and was our first time in Seville. We were slightly concerned on arrival with the narowness of the stret as it looked a little like a back-alley (as we got to know Seville we understood that it would be considered almost a main road). Any doubts were instantly dispelled as we entered the Hotel. The building is magnificent. Then things just got better. The staff are friendly yet highly professional and helped make our stay a delight. The bedroom was large and comfortable (although the double is two single beds pushed together - not uncommon in mainland Europe). Overall, if there is a better hotel in Seville I don't want to stay in it because I would the Vincci La Rabida everytime.

La Rabidda is ideally located in Seville. Almost all major tourist attractions are within brief walking time. The hotel itself is bright, pleasant and comfortable, and the staff are consistently helpful. Even following signs, many travellers may find themselves circling round and round until they get it right. The hotel itself is on a narrow nondescript street a couple of turns off the beaten track. Once found, it is a fine place to stay for a weekend in Seville. The breakfast buffet is very good.
