My stay was great. I would highly recommend. The location is great, although can be a little challenging to find at first since it's tucked away. Several restaurants and sites are close. There's actually a yummy restaurant across the street that serves tapas. Very convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful with my requests.

This is an absolutely joyful experience. The hotel is close to every major attractions. Our rooms are facing a lovely square. The staff are warm and competent. Maybe it's the virtue of people in Seville. It also has a small swimming pool on the terrace but it opens way too early at 8pm. That's the only drawback. But we will definitely come back if we visit seville again.

Fantastic location and really lovely hotel. We were delighted with our stay there - room was spacious, modern and clean and staff were extremely helpful. We were ungraded to a junior suite free of charge which was fantastic! Only 2 points is that it is quite noisy if you want an early night (due to the very central location only) and the light in the rooms isn't great - could have done with more lamps.

The refurbished rooms are done in black and are very dark. There was no hot water in both the rooms we were alotted and we were made to move to a diffeent floor but even there the water was luke warm. Hot water was available only the next day. We suspect the boilers were put off because of low occupancy levels as we saw very few other guests.

The hotel was almost perfect until the last day. The place is perfect to visit the city, the rooms are nice and quite big. There were only some problems on the last day of our staying. In fact, the day before our leaving they didn't bring any toilet paper, they clean quite badly and we got only one new towel, but, maybe, that was because it was the new years'eve..

Hotel Rey Alfonso X, a sleek modern hotel in an amazing location. We arrived at the hotel jet-lagged via a taxi from the airport convinced finding the hotel on our own would have been near impossible. The hotel is located on the edge of a rabbit warren of picturesque winding streets, a short walk from the Cathedral, ground zero for Seville. The hotel overlooks a small plaza with cafes, a pharmacy and close to a small bakery where we bought croissants from a grumpy baker and a tiny grocery store named “Wendys”. The staff at Hotel Rey Alfonso X was friendly and spoke some English. A computer for hotel guests is located in the lobby and the hotel has free Wi-Fi. We had breakfast a few mornings at the cafes in the adjacent plaza. Our room was clean, spacious and overlooked a small interior courtyard. This room location was quiet at night. However, I think the hotel rooms overlooking the plaza in front of the hotel and, for that matter, any hotel that fronts on any street in Seville, would be noisy day or night from constant motor scooters and during seasonal times, late night revelers. However, during the day, construction noise across our interior courtyard started at 8:30AM and was constant during the day. The hotel floors and stairs are all marble which while beautiful, transmit and seemingly amplify noise from adjacent rooms. Carpeted rooms would be quieter but apparently that is not the Seville way. Also, in spite of the large British /American tourist influence the rooms lack a coffee maker or tea kettle. Perhaps the hotel wishes guests to use the hotel restaurant, or again, in room coffee/tea is just not the Seville way. The location was tremendously central to exploring Seville but just out of the way enough to not have the large crowds that would have made our stay unpleasant. We highly recommend staying at this hotel keeping in mind that it lacks some amenities but this is Seville, you are supposed to be out enjoying the city!

First time in Seville ,very nice place ,very hot in August (+44°C !) but nice to visit with few people on the street during the day. Good party on the night on the bar. Very good hotel on the historic place of Seville and nice price in August (64Euro) + 8 Euro with the breakfast.

The hotel was fine. The room was clean, although a bit small and outdated. There were no drawers to unpack our clothes. The location was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful in both English and Spanish. I would try to something more upscale next time in such a beautiful city as Sevilla, but the hotel was certainly sufficient and comfortable.

Ideally located in the heart of Sevilla, with plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby and only a short walk to all the major attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms quite large, modern and clean. I'd definitely recommend for anyone looking for a weekend get away or a longer stay.

We chose the Rey Alfonso because it is situated in an excellent area - Santa Cruz, close to tourist amenities, and also because it had parking facilities on site. However, please note that parking is extra - 20 euros per day. Very clean and modern hotel with surprisingly spacious and well equipped rooms for the locality, but no personality or ambience at all. Good value for money for the room but go to local cafes for Sevillian breakfast 2.40 euros compared to hotel charging 8 euros for bland food. No atmosphere in the hotel, but its location means that it isnt needed as there is such a lot to do and see in the vicinity. Would def go back to this hotel.

Good place to stay if wanting a central location. Handy for food and bars and has use of a rooftop pool in an adjacent hotel for when the feet are too tired! Good service - even managed to correct a slight mistake on my bill a week after I had left - no argument, just good service.

This hotel was really complicated to find when I investigated. The reason why that location looked out the alley. I prefer nearby the church. I can recommend my friends this hotel whether they ask me. Finally, this hotel was general level compare with another four star hotel.

Ottimo hotel in eccellente posizione.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Friendly staff, stylish rooms. However, the noise of other guests in the corridor (slamming doors, coming and going, etc) was very loud, and woke us up a few times. Also, the breakfast is not very good and rather expensive - it is much better to eat breakfast out (there's a great little cafe next door). It would have been nice to have had tea-making facilities in the room. Otherwise, a very nice stay.
