Hotel Montecarlo - Seville

The room was clean and near the city center but: -We asked for a double bed and we found 2 single beds. - RESTING WAS IMPOSSIBLE: beds were really uncomfortable, shorts with too soft matresses (I had backache the day after). Moreover the room was incredibly NOISY; it seemed that there weren't windows: the noise of cars, motos, horse carriages was loud and you could hear voices coming from other rooms. -The bathroom did not have a bidet -the television was really small and without remote control - The hotel is indeed a 2 stars superior (not 3 stars as indicated in the advertising) WE PAYED ALL THESE DISCOMFORTS 95 EUROS (ninetyfive)

Decent, run-of-the-mill hotel. But there are probably places with much more character in Seville. Didn't think the reception folk were particularly warm or welcoming compared to other hotels we stayed at in Andalucia. Decent location - nothing special though. Very good quality rooms.

Very attentive to A PROBLEM WITH OUR ROOM AND ARRSANGED AN EXCHANGE WHEN THE PROBLEM WITH THE AIRCONDITIONING COULD NOT BE RECTIFIED. lOVELY STAFF. IT DID HELP THAT I AM FAIRLY FLUENT IN SPANISH.

Traffic in seville manic but found hotel ok.on arrival at hotel told my car a picasso would not fit into garage staff proceeded to draw a line on map to nearest car park back into seville traffic.on walking back to hotel were then told the retaurant and cafe/bar were closed during our stay.

This is the first time I have used verne.com but I will be back.

Difficult to arrive by car.

I've stayed before here. Very good location. Ideal for 1/2 nights. Reasonable price.

The Hotel is located near a lots op shops and the cathedral of seville. the hotel-room was small. the bed was very soft, so someone with problems in the back won´t have much fun sleeping for a longer time than 2 days.Look from the room was against a wall - located at a small shaft, less daylight, the bathroom-window also endet in a small shaft(1x1 m) and very ugly: The bathroom smelled like onion rings at burger King, in cause the shaft maybe endet at the kitchen at the groundfloor i think. was ok fpr one night, but i don´t will stay again there.

We stayed here March 18-20 (2 nights) and it was great considering many of the other hotels were sold out for the weekend. Easy to reach by cab or car if you are driving (I don't know if the hotel offers parking). Location is close to shopping district and a nice walk to the cathedral. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Much larger than I thought, and much more modern. Clean and efficient.

We enjoyed staying at the Montecarlo. It was conveniently located for sightseeing and restaurants. It was recommended to us by friends who had stayed there last year.
