Hotel Monte Triana - Seville

Location was an issue for us. Not only is the hotel a good distance from the Cathedral and Alcazar, the Triana area lacks the historical character and charm of the city center. That notwithstanding, the staff was very helpful and pleasant, and the bed was comfortable. The room and updated bathroom were clean and a good size. We stayed for two nights at the beginning of October, and it was unseasonably warm. Unfortunately, the A/C did not keep our room cool enough to sleep comfortably. Also, although the area of the hotel was relatively quiet, the room was not. We could hear sounds from the hall and from other rooms. Because of the issues with noise, A/C and location, we would probably choose to stay elsewhere on a return to Seville.

We had a reduced rate

An excellent hotel that is across the river from the old city tourist area. It takes about 15 minutes or so to walk to the cathedral, but you can walk through the colorful Triana market building on the way.

Nice hotel, friendly English speaking staff, good value for money. If you are board only make sure you have your coffee in the Bar not in the breakfast room! The hotel is a 20 minute walk (over the river) from the centre. If you want a City Centre Hotel - this is not it BUT that is an advantage in that it's quieter and cheaper. Overall I would recomend this Hotel!

The hotel was fine, and even though I arrived very late, after midnight, they were very helpful. However my room wasn't cleaned at all on the first day! The garage was a plus, and not as difficult to get in and out of as I had been led to expect from other travellers' comments.

The staff were very friendly and helpful (almost too much!). The area is residential, across the river from downtown. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance, and not touristy. Good underground parking. However, the rooms look much better on the photos than they are: furniture, bed and window dressings and even walls look worn out. The bathroom had been recently renovated. The hotel director assured us they will soon renovate rooms too. The lobby was dark and the bar stayed closed until late, giving the lobby at somber feeling.

Customer Service was wonderful and when we arrived early they placed us in a newly renovated room on the first floor. In addition having mentioned that we were on honeymoon they had a bottle of Cava sent on the house to our room as well as taking care of our laundry past deadline.

A 10 minute walk over the river from the centre of Sevilla, the hotel isn't in an attractive area but it's convenient enough and the hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Having a car park was a big bonus for us. The rooms are good, with effective, quiet air conditioning, comfortable beds and good en-suite bathrooms. Helpful, friendly staff. A good place to stay.

I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast. The food looked "tired" and picked over. The warm items we dried and not all that warm. This fell well below my expectations. I have enjoyed complimentary breakfasts of better choice and quality. This breakfast was 10 Euro.

Hotel bien placé accueil super garage pas cher tres bien

Excellent service at a good price. It is out of the Seville centre but only 15 mins walk away with attractive views en route. We stayed 3 nights. Our only problem came from ose set of fellow guests who seemend determined to have a raucous all night gathering which we protested to management about and in due course was sorted out (I think they were actually asked to leave the hotel as they refused repeatedly to quieten down sufficiently) Parking was provided underneath the hotel at 10 euro per night.

Everything was just perfect as I confirmed. But the most notable we noticed was the absolute friendly team from the hotel we appreciated very much. Thank You very much! PS: Last but not least: even the windows of our rented car were cleaned when we entered into the garage to move on to our next desitnation ....
