Very nice hotel, very spaciouos. On a small street not far from river. But it is a long walk to the main attractions in Old Town (Cathedral, Tower, Bull Ring).

Lovely hotel in great location. Grumpy reception staff had not checked our venere booking and seemed to blame us. We arrived at 11:30 am when we specified 12:00. We were not given our room until we became angry at 3:00 pm. No apology was given for their mistakes.

The hotel was very nice and esthetically pleasing. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, however it could not be smaller! There was only enough room for one person at a time on either side of the bed and also at the foot of the bed. Also, if you are keeping a car in the garage, there is a very steep ramp to come when leaving and you must get out of the car to signal the hotel staff to open the gate, which swings inward, so the car has to stop and wait at the top section of this steep incline.

its was a nice hotel at tratitional spanish architecture. our room was not large and without any supprising services, even thought it was a nice and really clean bathroom the total room was not supprising. thinking of the really nice price i can say that it was a really nice quality/price option. i need to also say that was quite away of the city center.

Too far from monument attractions. The smallest rooms ever seen! But the employees were very very kind and changed our room with one with three beds which was more spacious.

hotel was very good, but missing information about the restaurant (menu card, dinner or lunch offer). Our room was over the restaurant, with open window it was very noisy and we had always the smell of the kitchen. During breakfast often cups or glasses or spoons were missing, tables not cleared. Otherwise the hotel met our standard.

The hotel is very pleasant and stylish, in a quite nice old town environment, offering a very good value for your money. Unfortunately the access by car was quite difficult because of the road maintenance works in some surrounding narrow streets.

the hotel is beautiful, there's nothing to add. any noise or trouble, everything was very good, just the room was a bit small. morover it's not very close to the centre, but it's well connected by bus.

The room we stayed was clean and spacious. However, the hotel was a bit too far from the major sightseeing places. I was told by a hotel staff that it took only 15 mins to walk to the Cathedral. It actually took me 25 mins with brisk walking to get there. If you plan to take a taxi from the hotel to the airport or the train station, you need to give yourself extra time. The hotel does not provide service to call a taxi for you. You have to get your own taxi on the street.

Very hard to find and on a one way street that seemed always to be the wrong way. You must book parking seperately. Venere never mentioned this and for two days I had to park a quarter mile away at 75% more cost. Room small, bed big, no room in the room. Location in a working class area not near tourism but we kind of liked that, area has a lot of local flavor. Breakfast expensive at hotel and did not seem worth it but we did not eat there. No nearby eating. Nothing within 300 meters, but some local places 3 to five blocks away. Won't return, not a good location for one time tourists. If you understand the local setting it might be ok.

The room in particular and the hotel in general were very nice, neat and clean. Please note that you will have to pay extra for breakfast and for the parking of your car. This does not come through clearly when registering online.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel Regina. Single room, a bit small (as always ...) but very clean, nice furniture and bathroom. The decoration of the hotel is beautiful (patio, colours ...). The surroundings are quiet and the hotel is about 10-15 min by foot from the city centre, along pleasant streets, which was Ok for me. Some rooms (nearest to the breakfast room) may be quite noisy. By the way, I found the breakfast expensive (not included in the room's price). But on the average, I would certainly recommend Regina.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona. It is very close to the center of the Gothic area. The rooms are very spacious, modern and clean. The staff were very helpful in making suggestions as to restaurants etc. When visiting Barcelona, we plan to stay here again.

We had a very comfortable room, but both being the wrong side of 60 the spiral staircase came to be very tiring. We should have been asked whether we minded a room(s) on two floors. Otherwise nice stay, though a good 15 minute walk from the centre.

on arrival at 12lunchtime we were told our rooms were not ready. after having taken an early flight to get there we were quite tired and expected the rooms to be ready. however this did not happen until 2 in the afternoon which we thought was a joke and we were not alone in the waiting line for rooms. the receptionist was rude and no apology was ever made to us for waiting 2hours. we are still waiting for the feedback to the suggestions questionnaire. there is parking at 10euros a day which is good and necessary if you are driving as there is nowhere to park your car due to narrow streets etc. we booked a double room at 53euros which was good as the hotel was really nice. however our room had no space and the walls are very thin, let that be a warning to people who wish to make extreme noise, you know who you are!! the centre is an easy 10 min walk away and overall this hotel is in a good location for exploring seville!
Heterosexual Couple
Italy, Aug 2005
this is a really nice hotel with underground parking at 10 euros a day. the location is good and is a 10min walk to centre. the hotel signage could be better especially when you are driving around the narrow streets which are mostly one way. we paid around 53euros a night for a double room which happened to be above the breakfast room. this was bad as during the early hours and at lunch time it was constant noise form the staff and customers. it sounded like they were throwing the plates and cutlery around and became very annoying after a while. the room was spacious with clean bathroom and good tv. beware of the lift! the sensor is around knee level so if you try to open the door just before it closes do not stick your arm through. this happened to us and was very painful as the door will shut on you and not re open, even if your foot is put through also, it needs to be the whole body. you have to fight your way free. dont even bother with the suggestion box, we doubt it ever gets read. overall good location, staff ok, good parking, good price and quality for a 3 star. would stay again.

clean sympathetic hotel, but , with a lot of noise in morning times by cleaning staff, moving furnitures. Staff unable to provide us information about train times when we wanted to go for excursion. Low season price for hotel of 80 EUROs quite good, but high season price of 230 EUROs extremely unreasonable for this hotel. Definitely clean room. Good bathroom.

Overall we had a pleasant stay at Hotel Regina. We were four in our group (two couples) and we stayed in a suite which had a bedroom upstairs connected by a staircase to a lower bedroom. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The only thing I wished the Hotel included in its price is breakfast. The hotel is also located on the very outskirts of the heart of Sevilla so your have to walk a ways to see stuff and that is very uncomfortable during the day because it is so hot.

The Hotel Regina was a nice hotel, however according to the map it looked like it was going to be considerably closer to the city center. Instead, it was a thirty - fourty minute walk. Also, when I asked about a tablau the Receptionist suggested a different place than what was previously recommended, not only was it more expensive but it was terrible. When I went to the one that was recommended they were leaps and bounds better.

Generally speaking, the hotel offered good value for price. The outstanding feature is the courtyards and the delightful atmosphere of the 5-storey atrium in the lobby. The rooms were adequate but rather small and not as well maintained as other hotels in the same price category. Given that the location is not within walking distance from the city centre, it is difficult to get information about public transport, even though reasonably good service is available within several blocks. Our biggest concerns, however, relate to technical issues. First, the air conditioning in none of the three rooms we used was functioning at an acceptable level. Second, the hotel has major problems with the elevators (lifts). On five occasions we were trapped in the lifts without any resposne to alarm bells or on the emergency telephone. The lifts are very small and do not have any type of ventilation. As it was 40 degrees, even 5 minutes in these closed quarters can cause oevrheating and a health risk. This happened to my 80-year old father who nearly panicked and, had it not been for someone coincidentally pushing a button from the outside and causing the door to open, fainting from heat exhaustion would have been the sure result. To make matters worse, the staff seemed unconcerned with this and refused to take the lifts out of service until a major fuss was raised. As this was a Saturday, no manager was on duty and nobody took responsibility for the situation. Unfortunately this incident overshadowed the positive qualities of our stay in Seville.

The Regina is acceptable inside for a short stay but was expensive compared to other 3 star propeties we stayed at in Andalucia eg in Granada, Nerja and in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The hotel is located in a safe but narrow shabby side street quite a long distance from the main Seville attractions eg Alcazar Palace.

The Regina hotel was a nice surprise in our recent trip to Spain, specially by the staff warmth and careful attention in all services. Furthermore the elegance and clean atmosphere of the hotel were great. Indeed we prepared a little celebration and the hotel worked hard to make it perfect. The only point we didn't like so much were the surroundings, very far from Seville downtown. Overall, Regina is a great choice.

Regina is a great hotel, offering good value for money. It's a little out of the way, but that does mean there is plenty of pretty local wandering to do. Also, taxis are very cheap in Seville so it's not a problem getting back at night.

The hotel staff was very helpful and polite. The rooms were very bright and cheery, cable tv selection was good. We had to take a cab to get to any place, but it was not too bad, since a Cab ride from the hotel to the Cathedral (center) cost between 4-6 euros.

Hotel Regina was wonderful. The staff was kind, welcoming, and spoke excellent English. The hotel has a space that locks right next to the front desk where guests can store luggages after checking out the hotel if they wanted to enjoy sight-seeing before actually leaving the town. The room was spacious and charming. The hotel offers free coffee which is available in the room and also in the hall way. The hotel is 20 minutes away from the center of the town (e.g. Catedral, Real Alcazar, etc.) which could present an issue for people who are unable to walk far. However, the path to the town is pleasant and 20 minutes goes very quickly. My room did not come with breakfast, and the breakfast would have been rather costly (11 Euro). On the way to the town, there are several nice bakeries where you can have a cup of tea and a couple of sweet baked items for less than 3 Euro. I recommend that you join the locals at a table outside and enjoy the breakfast rather than spending the 11 Euro at the hotel.
