Hotel is very good value, breakfast included in price, and lovely to sit in the patio area to eat, or relax in the evening. Difficult to find, our taxi struggled, and by car the streets are very narrow here. A detailed map on the web site from the square would really help! Easy to walk into the city, about 10 mins to the shopping area, and 15 to the Cathedral. We spent most evenings in the Almedia de Hercules sitting outside with good quality Tapas.Staff friendly and helpful, although bar closes at 11pm (people do not start to eat until 10pm in the summer!)

Eccellente in tutto!

Sicuramente ci ritorneremmo.

Parking is pretty much a nightmare everywhere in Seville so I didn't rate services as highly as I would have. This hotel is good value for money, especially in a city where rooms can be at a premium. The bar did close fairly early. The hotel is within easy walking distance of all the sights, approx 10 mins.

Hotel was modern and clean, with fairly spacious rooms and updated bathrooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is not bad, just a 5 minute walk to the main shopping streets. The area may look a little run-down, but is safe and with interesting restaurants around. Near to gay bars if that is an interest. Overall, good experience for the money.

Overall the Hotel Corregidor was excellent, the staff were very friendly and there were plenty of places to eat and drink nearby with the walk to the cathedral taking about 15 minutes. The only criticism I have is that the bathrooms are small, but this didn't detract from the hotel overall. I'd definitely go back.

Very difficult to reach the hotel by car, and the garage is quite expensive (18Eur/day). In the end we left the car nearby and ask one of hotel staff to guide us to the parking place (which he did after a 30 min car tour)... We were given a room for smokers(the only one available...).

The breakfast buffet was excellent, although I thought it was included for free in the price of the room (but not sure about that). Our particular room was a little cramped, but extremely clean and quiet, possibly because it was located way down the maze of hallways from the elevator, but ok and nice overall. I was traveling with 2 single girlfriends and a father with 3 small children, so their room actually was much more spacious than ours. The two single beds pushed up next to each other takes a little getting used to, but were good enough for sleeping the one night that we stayed there because we were exhausted from traveling/flying all day long. And the location to restaurants, shops and a walking/park plaza was the best. We really enjoyed our overnight there. And it was great to have wireless internet available too, although for a fairly steep price, but it was worth it.

We stayed in Seville for 3 nights Good Friday to Easter Monday. The hotel is very central and is just a couple of minutes from the main shopping area, which made it easy to find your way back to the hotel (find Plaza Victoria, then Amour de Dios and you are there). As the hotel is in an older building in the city centre there are no views from the room windows. The first room we were shown, on the first floor looked on to an internal brick wall, I asked to change rooms and was given another without any fuss straight away, this was on the second floor overlooking a small alleyway leading to a church. As it was Holy week there were processions all night Friday and Saturday which meant that the city centre was traffic free, even the tram lines were taken down. It was a lovely experience and I would recommend Seville, with its beautiful Cathedral and many churches and parks,to everyone at this time of year.

If travelling by car a sat.nav is a definite must. The hotel is situated at the bottom of a walkway, the sat.nav takes you to the top of this with nowhere to park. To make life easier enter the street name (Amor de dios) not the hotel address into your sat.nav. it took us 2 hours after arriving to actually find the hotel.

The staff was universally helpful, friendly and accomodating. They helped us solve 2 problems quickly and with kindness. Can't say enough good things about the staff. This hotel is near the Alameda Hercules which is a trendy late night dining and cite, and a very pleasant 15 minute walk to the Cathedral and the Alcazar. Very nice location. Very nice hotel with very hospitable staff. The only hotel that I found with a family room available on Venere.com for this area. The room was very spacious with a large private terrace. The hotel was very difficult to find with the GPS system because there were many one way streets and there was no parking in the vicinity....so we parked at the first available garage parking and used the GPS on foot...Found the hotel set off from the street. The hotel does have a private parking underground lot located about 100-150 m down a oneway street..the best way to gain access is to break the rules and go the wrong way down the street....(pray for no buses or autos because it is a VERY narrow street).Parking is on a first come...first serve basis.....Once parked we left the car and explored the city on foot. 10-15 min walk to the Cathedral....mainly through a shopping district.

This was our first visit to Hotel Corregidor and our third to Seville. I would not hesitate to stay again or recommend the hotel to others. The staff were very helpfull and obliging. The breakfast which was included in the price of the room was excellent. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the central area of the city but the walk is direct and through well used and well lit streets. A bus service (not used)is available and the new tram (used)though of limited value gives access to more distant parts of the central area. The hotel is well positioned for pedestrian access to other interesting parts of the city away from the central area. The hotel was full when we arrived in the mid-afternoon and there was only one non-smoking room available. We were given the option of changing to a smoking room but chose to stay in the adequate though compact non-smoker. My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Seville which in part was due to the excellence of the hotel Corregidor

We had a small room with a tiny bathroom and not a lot of daylight. All in all we appreciated our stay, but we had a bad experience with the cleaning staff. 2 days our room was more or less properly cleaned (not excellent!), but te 3rd day it wasn't cleaned at all. Maybe just a coincidence, but I think because of a lack of respect to the guests. So be aware that your room is being cleaned before 4 pm.

The hotel boasts a good position for the sightseeing, but it is easy to find only if you own a GPS navigator!! Otherwise it's a nightmare due to the net of small streets (most of them one-way). It is also impossible to park!! We were shamelessly lucky finding place in "Alameda de Hercules", a very big square with Roman columns in the neighbourhood (there is an ice-cream shop named Freskura). The hotel however offers a fee-paying parking. A minus of the hotel is the quietness of the rooms, whose walls seem to be built in tissue-paper, as you hear all the noises of the street but also of the clients carrying their trolleys in the corridors, the doors shutting, voices and the housekeeping staff. There is a receptionist who speaks perfect Italian and is a forge of useful informations and hints. A professionist.

The hotel is very near to the city center, you can reach very easily on feet "Plaza Nueva" and "Campana" zone. The welcoming has been very good and the reception staff can speak many languages. By the way the rooms are quite small and the "room make up" service is not very efficient: our room was never ready befor 4:30 pm, besides it was not very clear.

Excellent hotel. Rooms service and public spaces are very good. Helpful staff. It is really close to Alameida de Ercules that is the heart of younger people night life, nevertheless it is very quite and professional. Every other destination in the city, e.g. the Cahtedral or the Alcazar, can be easily reached is some minutes on foot. I would definitively reccomend this hotel for a leisure travel. Being in the city center it is quit uneasy to reach by car, but not a problem at all with a GPS. The car park for us was not in the hotel but in a public garage 5 minutes away from the hotel, not a problem but this could have been specified better.

Nice stay in Seville, sure, and in hotel Corregidor. The position of the hotel is very good located, it matches all neeeds: from young people whit alameda de hercules very near whit alternative crowdy bars and restaurants to visit in the night expecially in w/ends, to aged people who can enjoy that proximity to c/sierpes, santa cruz and cathedral and triana too, is so near and easy to walk to. A little bit negative considerations to the moquette in the flat corridors, and more in difficulty to enter in the bathroom, due, I think, in our room, to a bad design: the lavabo does'nt match whit the door... Some problems to simply enter in the bathroom... Loved the possibility to enjoy free the gym in front ofthe hotel.

Our room smelled awful. It was moldy all over the cieling and hanging artwork. We complained to the man at the front desk and he said that many people complain about the smell, but its just there. He gave us this chemical spray to spray into the air conditioner when it was on supposidly to stop the smell, but it failed to do anything. So we had to sleep with the window open and air conditioning going all night to buffer against this awful smell of mold and dog urine. The location is very good, walking distance to everything and felt safe walking back there at night. The downstairs is in much better condition than the rooms. The rooms would have been much better if they did not smell so bad.

The hotel was one of the best we resided in during our sojourn in Andalusia. The staff were always competant and helpfull. We had no problem finding the hotel as we used Mapquest.com using the hotel address and the instructions were spot-on. My only complaint is that we had a room overlooking the entrance to the hotel and were often woken up by guests arriving late at night and wheeling their luggage over the cobblestone pavement outside. The hotel needs to use double glazing on their windows!!! Other than that based upon our total experience, I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Sevilla.

It was my second stay with this hotel. On the first stay, I had found the room a bit on the small side, but we were 4 young adults sharing a room, so I thought this was normal. However, this time there were only 2 of us and I have to say it is one of the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in. The design of the bathroom was so bad, you could not open the bathroom door all the way because the bidet was in the way. My mom almost fell while getting out of the bathtub because the tub sides were so high. You could reach the sink while still seated on the toilet (and I'm 5'3"!). We had very little sunlight from outside, so when the lights were turned off, it was pitch black - you could not tell the difference between having your eyes open or closed. Other rooms seemed bigger, maybe they only put us in such a small room because we got a good discount through Venere?? Regardless, I was very disappointed.

Da me consigliatissimo.

The hotel was very nice and clean with a lovely lobby and dining room and had a good location to all the main sites in Seville. When we arrived the staff on reception were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Overall a very pleasant hotel.

Corregidor Hotel is the perfect place for your stay in Siviglia. Very nice rooms, absolute cleanliness and serious employees. The position of the hotel in the city is really good, very close to the main streets of the centre and the most important monuments.

The hotel is not very easy to find, it seems to be hidden in Sevilla! The welcoming was not very good: we had to wait for our room to be ready for 1 hour, but, to be honest, we had to expect that since on the information provided by venere.com it was told that rooms were available only starting from 1 pm, if I remember well. Anyway, do not hope to have your room ready any sooner! The staff at the reception was quite unpleasant, but maybe we had not been lucky. Despite of this, the hotel is nice and it is just a 15 minute walk from the touristic centre of Sevilla.

Hotel tucked away but only 10 minute walk from Cathedral. Excellent value for money with splendid breakfasts.

The hotel was good, especially the public areas and the breakfast. The location was also good, as it was pretty close to the citycentre. However, we faced huge problems on finding it. Sevilla is very hard to move around if you are travelling by car. And we did not have attention and help from the staff - to whom we called a couple of times and did not helped us. My second complain is about the room - who was smelling cigar smoke and it was a no-smoking room. Even though, I would recomend the hotel, due to the price/benefic rate and due to the location in Seville.
