Hotel Catalonia Hispalis - Seville

very noisy, bad aspect exterior,shower inextante pressiure with dirty closet, far away from the historical center, well ! forget this adress !

Great hotel at small price

Very nice, clean and spacious room with a MASSIVE bed (you could fit 4 people on the double bed). Outside the city centre, but easy bus connection, about 15 mins. Breakfast was a good value for money. Reception staff was most helpful. Hotel offers paid parking. There is also free parking around (which is not the case in the centre). So it is a good place to stay if you travel by car. Area around is a bit neglected.

To reach the centre of the city you can take the bus at the other site of the street. it takes about 20 minutes to Prado and from there it is 5 minutes to the centre. Further the public transportation is a bit complicated.

My only comment would be that the distance quoted to the city centre appears innacurate. It is on the way we went more than 3 kms. Is there an error on the website

We stayed 3 days in Sevilla. One thing to notice is that it's really difficult to park your car. And as the hotel is relatively far from the historical center, you'd better use public trnasports to go there. What's more, the hotel is not really qiet due to proximity of a large avenue.

It's a little difficult to reach the first time.

We were surprised how far it really was from the city center: 25 minutes by bus on a good day. The neighbourhood is one of the poorer parts of Seville, there are two highways next to the hotel which make it a bit noisy. There is nothing interesting in walking distance, you are stuck in the evenings. The staff kept an unobtrusive distance to the guests, sometimes we wondered whether they had noticed us at all. We have seen cleaner rooms in poorer parts of the world. The breakfast was really o.k. The internet terminal never worked during the four days of our stay.

We were placed in a room with a sewer smell and moved to another. The two couples had rooms that were not too clean and we were disappointed in the value as we had always had excellent experience with Venere locations in the past and felt that this property was not up to normal standards.

One night in double room at 42 € total!!

hotel is very far from centre but this was not well evidenced in the web page we did use to stay at Catalonia Hotels in Spain in the past and we chose it for the reason that we find them to be very good ; this time good quality and price has not been matched to usual convenience in their site

The hotel was modern, but rooms were very wide and clean, good stay. It's far from city center and located near the motorway, but no noise in the room.

El aire acondicionado en las habitaciones funcionaba casi! L'aria condizionata nelle camere funzionava appena!

too far from centertown. unclean suburbs. rooms too noisy ( road outside ), neighbour rooms... bad stay (we moved after 1 night)

Excellent the relationship beetween price and quality. We returned again there at the end of the trip. It is far from the center but we had the car and it was not important. Very good.
