Hotel Abril - Seville

Hotel Abril totally met our expectations: it was clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and the staff was particularly welcoming and helpful. We would return there without hesitation.

We only stayed at Hotel Abril for one night, however were warmly welcomed (in perfect English) and shown what we could experience in Seville in that short time. The room we had was big (but two single beds for a married couple!!), and also had a small sofa. The bathroom was very clean. The wifi was a bit on and off, but because we were there for such a short time it didn't really matter. This was a great place to stay in Seville.

Lovely room overlooking a quiet street. Very handy to Encarnacion Square and centrally located for touring the city. Good value breakfast deal available @ E5 for three days.

Abril is across the street from the grocery store, very convenient and near many shops and restaurants. Staff was helpful in giving suggestions, and directions. We walked everywhere, from cathegdrals to flamenco show and to parks.very pleasant rooms

I have to say that although the staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant, there are just a couple of things to remark on…. I stayed in a "single" room...which I'm pretty sure had been a closet prior and while it was clean and the bathroom was a good size - the only window opened onto the common hallway so there was absolutely no fresh air available. The other issue is noise - obviously when you have pane of glass that separates you from people coming in/out of their rooms and talking - it's a bit unnerving. I'd suggest paying a bit extra for a room on the front with a balcony.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Convenient location within walking distance of the city center.Clean and comfortable rooms. Certainly we will return one day.

I think the hotel offers very good value for money and provided me with all facilities which I required. It is also well situated within a short walk of the city centre. The free cafeteria is a particularly welcome feature.

Not easy to find for the first time. Take a taxi. Do not go with your own car. Breakfast nothing special.

Very friendly staff. Not the biggest of rooms but nice and clean. Only 10 mins walk to the cathedral but plenty of nice bars around. Great budget hotel. For the price(50 euros/room), it was excellent value.

The hotel is about 15 mins walk from the train station and is easy to find if you have a detailed map. We had a good welcome and were pleased with the clean and spacious twin room and the air con worked fine and was quiet at night. We took advantage of the free coffee and biscuits in the breakfast lounge which were deserved after lots of walking around. The hotel is only a short 10 min walk to the built up central areas and we thought it was excellent value for money and would recommend to others.

Simple, comfortable and practical. Manage is nice and kind, shared lots of info about Sevilla.

A little trouble locating the property, even the Sevilla police had trouble directing us, but the front desk staff made up for this early frustration. Very welcoming and helpful. We had a triple room and while moving around was a bit difficult, we also got a very nice patio. Bathroom was spacious. Overslept for the buffet breakfast, but sounded like quite a bargain at 4 euro. Generally a very nice stay, a good price and I would recommend it - just be sure to have your GPS - not just for Abril but all of of Sevilla.

The manager was very pleasant and helpful and answered all our questions about Seville.

Perfetto per chi è a piedi perchè l'hotel è in centro, pulito, receptionist accoglienti, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Essendo nella camera di fronte alla reception un po' di confusione non è mancata...ma basta sapersi adattare per un prezzo così basso! Hanno una sola camera matrimoniale (tutte le altre doppie: con letti separati!)

Clean, calm, good and kind service. Just on the centre. Simple place, not a beauty, but comfortable and really practichal to discover Seville.

We were happy with our room and the staff. They also had a computer we could use to email which was very nice. I liked other the other are of the city better, but this hotel worked out very well for us.

The hotel is very well located it's close the the main monuments. The hotel reception provided us with a very good map which was our bestfriend!

This hotel is ok but the price is overrated for what you get. This is a tipycal city centre old-fashioned hotel in which you only want to sleep... not stay. The bathroom was very smelly. The description on how to get there is very bad. Employees were not especially friendly.

Hotel Abril has an excellent price/quality rate, good location in the city and perforing staff: very good choice!

Air conditioner was not enough

Ci hanno collocati in una stanza con una vetrata sulla comune sala internet, di fronte alla sala colazione. La prima mattina verso le 06:00 c'e' stato un un bel po' di rumore, Dunque non togliendo che l'albergo abbia buone stanze la nostra sistemazione ha lasciato molto a desiderare

The hotel has a central location in the town permiting a good access to any interesting point of Sevilla. It is a quiet small street in one of the historic areas,that offers an ideal departure point for a complete visit of the town.

Abbastanza comodo da raggiungere, anche se è poco conosciuto sia l'hotel, sia la via dove questo è ubicato (neppure un tassista conosceva via e albergo, così come autista di bus e commessa di gelateria a 100 mitri di distanza). Pulito e tranquillo. Prima colazione accettabile. Sala da caffè e the aperta tutto il giorno con bevande gratis. Nella matrimoniale il letto è piccolo (da una piazza e 1/2, tanto per intenderci). Tutto sommato esperienza positiva. Buono rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Avoid downstairs rooms,next to reception. Location good. Breakfast poor. Nice clean rooms, adequate size Good value as Seville is not an inexpensive City.

If only all hotels were as nice as this and the staff so friendly and helpful life would be great! Lovely room and ensuite. Great selection for breakfast and free luggage storage on our last day. It's in a nice quiet area close enough to the centre to be able to walk. Highly recommend this place and it's staff.

I would stay here again. A good room, a reasonable breakfast, and very helpful front desk.

Decisamente il punto di forza di questo hotel è la posizione centralissima, comodo per chi ha bambini piccoli. Anche il coffè aperto tutto il giorno è comodo, la colazione non è eccellente, ma il personale è gentile e disponibile.

E' un buon hotel 2 stelle a costi contenuti e in una posizione vicina al centro. Raccomandabile

Difficile da raggiungere con l'auto,vicino ci sono solo garage a pagamento ma,molto comodo per visitare il centro storico di Siviglia.Con nostra sorpresa all'arrivo ci hanno detto che la colazione era inclusa nel prezzo.All'arrivo ci avevano assegnato la stanza n.2 senza finestra esterna ma, con finestra che dava su un salottino interno utilizzato come postazione internet a pagamento, naturalmente ci siamo fatti cambiare subito la stanza che, e' risultata grande e confortevole.La pulizia si puo' migliorare. Tutto sommato si puo' dare un giudizio benevolo in rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Excellent relationship price/quality; nice staff (very nice the lady at the reception ;). Surely I'll come again in Seville (wonderful place!) and surely I'll stay in Abril Hotel

PROS 1) The hotel is located within walking distance from most of the sites. 2) There is a Taxi stand near by 3) Very helpful staff - English Speaking CONS 1) The hotel is located in a slightly poorer neighbourhood - It's safe but there are no good restarants near by etc. We spent 2 nights here and 2 nights at Hotel Plaza - I thought Hotel Plaza Seville was a better value for money - located in a nice location and had a range of good restarants.

We stayed in a triple room even if we booked a double room; the hotel is located in an excellent position (five minutes walking to Giralda). the room is clean and quite quiet, but if you go to Seville you don't have to stay in a hotel, you havo to walk through the city!

It was a real nightmare. We found fleas in our bed. My wife was bite by one and she had to do a therapy. Moreover rooms are extremely noisy.

Very good value for money hotel. Some bedrooms have no windows on the outside so you should ask for one with window on the street.

It will be useful to pay attention on the mapping location.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Abril hotel. The rooms are extremely peaceful and quiet and decorated with taste. The hotel is very well located within walking distance of main touristic attractions as well as shopping area. Higly recommended!
