Normally if a hotel is clean and staff are polite then I give high scores... This hotel is seriously awesome though and should be in the 10+ option. Such a beautiful building, fantastic location. And on check in they bombarded us with "free" stuff...even if it's just a walking tour, HotTub session and bottles of water it certainly made us feel epic even before we'd encountered the amazing courtyard and beautifully decorated (if slightly small) double room. Even managed to find 24hr Parking nearby!! This hotel really spoilt us, nowhere can compare. An awesome hotel!!

We were a young couple traveling on our honeymoon and decided to splurge on this hotel. We are very glad we did; it was our favorite place that we stayed in Spain--if you're splurging on just one place, this is a great one. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the Santa Cruz district in the old city--the heart of Sevilla--and yet on a quiet street so there's no noise from outside. Inside the hotel, the atmosphere is beautiful and serene, with rooms surrounding a gorgeous indoor courtyard full of plants and color. The decor in our room was beautiful, too, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is as quiet as can be, given the arrangement of the rooms around the courtyard. That is, we *were* awakened one night (out of the two we stayed there) by several noisy Australians having a drunken conversation (I swear I'm not trying to stereotype!) right outside our door. Our room was on the second level at the base of a staircase, unfortunately. That was the only time noise filtered in at all...and if we had been placed in a room away from the stairs, I doubt we would have experienced any noise. No one using the public courtyard space was ever noisy; the atmosphere just lends itself to quiet and peacefulness. So if you're a sensitive sleeper (like we are), just make sure to request a room far from high-traffic areas like stairways, and probably on an upper floor. The only other hitch was the jacuzzi--we signed up in advance, as advised, so they could heat the water for us...then when we got in discovered that the water was lukewarm at best. Since the air was cold, we jumped right back out again and went to take baths in our room instead (the room had a wonderful bathtub). And yet, despite those two hitches, I still highly recommend this hotel--so that just shows how wonderful it is! The beauty and peace and location and atmosphere, not to mention the extremely helpful staff (who speak excellent English), were all well worth any small hitches

Beautiful courtyard, but the room was a bit cramped, and we couldn't open our blinds, because of the number of people walking straight past the window.

This hotel is very well located and the staff friendly and helpful. The room decor is quirky but they are well appointed. My only complaint is that my room (and I think all of them) faced onto the courtyard. I could either have the curtains open or keep them closed them for privacy. The free wi-fi was a bonus, but it was slow and kept dropping out. Otherwise, I liked this hotel and thought it good value for money.

We loved our room and the location. However, it was difficult to locate initially because the main entrance is on a lane too narrow for cars. The many lanes and plazas made it a bit confusing until we got the hang of it. Our only complaint is the breakfast. The quality and quantity was very poor, for example packaged donuts and poor refrigeration. They use an adjacent tapas restaurant so the layout of the food is awkward. The one attendant worked hard, but she had to put the dirty dishes next to the breads until she could load or unload the dishwasher.

Location was brilliant, most attractions within walking distance. Hotel is beautifully maintained, staff were really friendly and helpful and the restaurant was one of the best we ate in.

I did not find a bath tub in my room. It only had a shower room. If the room had a bath tub, I would be fully satisfied with the hotel.

This was my favorite hotel out of the 4 I've been to in Spain. It was charming and authentic and I wish I could spend a couple of extra days there. The rooftop jacuzzi was great with a clear view of the cathedral. The breakfast and mid-day snacks were lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If I'm ever in Seville again I won't think twice about staying there.

We absolutely loved our stay here!!! We are a family of five, with three teenagers and we had two very private rooms on the rooftop (casas 28 and 29) which were both comfortable and charming. The staff was very lovely, and the common area was very pleasant. The rooftop has a nice sitting area with views of the city and a jacuzzi. Would highly recommend!!

Unbeatable site in the heart of Barrio Santa Cruz, the shortest of walks from all the sights in the heart of Sevilla. Given the very old, pedestrian neighborhood, the hotel is not the easiest to find (we were happy to just have our backpacks after taking the AVE train into Santa Justa), but you'll find it's well-run, clean, modern and comfortable. Staff was gracious. Our small room was away from the street and restaurant side, opened onto the courtyard and was very peaceful. Overall a great 2-night stay.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very nicely decorated. The courtyard was beautiful and relaxing. Free wi-fi and bottled water. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend. My favorite hotel on our travels through Spain!

Comfortable and friendly hotel in Santa Cruz area. Beautiful courtyard, plants and furnishings, great atmosphere. Go out for breakfast, though, as the serve yourself fare provided was poor. Will stay here again.

The hotel is really hard to find. We finally ended up consulting with the local police and lead us there. In addition, though the hotel is located on a small street, it is very noisy (probably caused by the neighbours). Every morning at 7:30am, there are very loud noises that wait you up. Having said that, the hotel staff are nice. But the shuttle arranged by the hotel to airport is almost twice the price than the normal local taxi. Definitely over charge.

We had a room with a window opening onto the patio and it was quite spacious by European standards. Overall it was very quiet stay and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and very clean. Whilst we did not make much use of it (there is so much to see and do in Seville), the patio is quiet and restful place. This was the best hotel we stayed at in 4 weeks in Spain with regards to location, cleanliness and value for money.

Room number 14, double. Bed too small. Unfortunately no possibility to choose twin or double when booking by means of venere. To be recommended for people who like to stay in the centre of the old city. Very friendly and competent staff. WM

Stayed for 6 nights. The hotel is placed in the center of the Juderia, quite close to the Cathedral. The stay was totally satisfactory, and I would surely use this hotel if I were to go to Seville again.
