Hotel Vis a Vis - Sestri Levante

We stayed in a double room with sea view. Besides the ants the room was clean and OK. The bathroom needs a renovation and showers with curtains are not state of the art. The location of the hotel and the panoramic view are great.

We were in Sestri Levante in Oct. 2009. It was a great place especially after spending time in Rome then Florence. The town was quiet, relaxing and beautiful. It was also a short train ride to the Cinque Terra region. Vis a Vis was a nice hotel. The rooms were clean with an awesome view. It was small with a very small bathroom but overall nice. The staff was excellent, very helpful with directions and places to eat. My daughter surprised and met us here and the staff was great about getting her a room at a very good price (there was no way she could stay in our room, too small).Our room was expensive but compared to other hotels we stayed in throughout Italy, not unreasonable. We did not eat dinner in the hotel but we ate breakfast each morning there (which was included)that was very good and loved the view each morning. We had a wonderful stay at Vis a Vis and would recommend it.

Second time staying here and loved every minute just as much. Great service from employees and management. Spectactular not to be believed views from everywhere especially the dining room. quiet, convenient to town and to trains to Cinque Terre and Italian Rivieria. Recommend highly. The problem of service in the restaurant at dinner only was being worked on by management and was the only bleep and a minor one. Bar staff was great etc. etc.
