Hotel Miramare - Sestri Levante

Very comfortable overnight stay while travelling. Central location yet in quiet area with good restaurants nearby.

Best spot in the area to be used as a base Very satisfied BUT breakfast is pour and measly for the price especially Charge another 2 Euros and put some decent fruit on the table Even run out of prunes the second day Lucky we do manage without it but it was a fruit replacement.Very helpful front staff tall blondish skiny lass with glasses We will adopt her!

This hotel was completely overstated. I am astonished it is a 4-star. The staff were not helpfull, the rooms were tacky, drab, and should have been refurbished at least 10 years ago. Very very disappointed in this hotel, not it is very overpriced and poor value for money.

Hotel Miramare is a charming hotel in an idyllic location on the bay. The rooms could do with an update but the exquisite view from our balcony more than compensated, also the room was immaculate. The staff is warm and extremely helpful, one man even went so far as to retrieve my guidebook from our car, which was parked miles away in the public parking, without my even asking. The town of Sestri Levante is lively and very beautiful, our children, ages 11 & 15, were able to explore its ancient roads in complete safety. Also, we were able to take trains to the Cinque Terre and Santa Marguerita with ease, the station is a 10 minute walk away. There are posher hotels in Sestri, but they are not in the old quarter and I doubt that they would have the friendly ease of the Miramare.

The shower was a bit cramped - else all very good.

We stayed here because we were late in the season making our plans and they just happened to have a room for us. It was by far the most pleasant eperience of our whole trip. We highly recommend the hotel, especially the restaurant, and will definitely stay here again.

A delightful hotel in a great spot in a wonderful town. We had a sea view room that was modern, clean, spacious and had a small deck. We were easily able to take day trips to Cinque Terre, Portofino, and Genova using both car and train.

Simply fantastic!

The hotel is in a fabulous location and we were made to feel most welcome by the friendly and helful staff. Public rooms are light and airy and meals can be taken on a terrace just above the beach with a great view of the bay. The only niggle would be that the rooms, which although spotlessly clean are rather dated and in need of a facelift. Overall we had a tremendous stay and would like to return.

The room had a spectacular view of the small harbor, the town was fun with great restaurants. The Punta Manara hike was spectactular. Loved our stay there!

This was the best hotel we saw in a 3 week trip. It was beatiful and we loved it!

The Miramare was a fabulous hotel right on the bay of silence in Sestri Levante. The biggest factor for my positive endorsement of this hotel is that all the hotel staff from the reception desks to the cleaners and the lady who looked after the beech were so welcoming and so friendly. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for them. They were all particularly helpful to my 6 year old son and went out of there way to make hime feel welcome. We enjoyed our holiday in Sestri Levante and had a very quiet and relaxing break. This was due in no small part to the Miramare being a very friendly and relaxing base for us. It was certainly a little more expensive than other hotels we looked at in the area but we are very glad we decided on this one. I would not hesitate to go back to Sestri Levante or the Miramare!!!
