Very comfortable hotel, a short walk from the centre of the town. Breakfast was excellent, rooms comfortable and well equipped. Only down-side to our stay was a noisy saturday night fete just down the road - but this was nothing to do with the hotel. We stayed two nights on our return to the UK from the south of France - excellent choice for us. Pleasant day in Saumur, market, shops, chateau etc.

The hotel had easy access and parking and an enthusiastic woman to greet us as we got in late at night. However, that also indicated a busy street outside the next morning. A short walk up the street led to a number of cafes. It was a nice overnight as we begin our drive along the wine route the next morning.

A comfortable and convenient stop over on route to our holiday destination. Gratien & Meyer wines are excellent and a good asset for the area of Saumur. Several good restaurants convenient to the Adagio Hotel.

The outer windows of our corner room were in poor condition so that traffic and other noise was intrusive. The bathroom was particularly large and well fitted out. The nearby Hotel Mercure was seen to be ideally situated in a quieter location with fine views of the city and we would stay there next time

I was anxious that I did not receive any email which I was to print out as proof of my booking, that I could produce at the hotel when I booked in. There was no prooblem when I got to the hotel but would have been more relaxed had I had a confirmation email. I have had confirmation emails from other website. I enjoyed my stay once I was there. Thankyou.

The hotel exceeded our expectations - the outside as you approach from the station could be repainted but dont be put off the rooms and service are excellent. The map from the railway station could be improved Remember to turn right as you leave the railway station and not left as it appears on the map.

The room class I booked was not available.I was put in a smaller room with no A/C.Overall a nice comfortable property.

Clean & quiet. BUT chose room on basis of view over Loire. There was a view over the Loire - past busy main road, onto sandbanks and old wrecked car - not the part with the river actually flowing. Legally fulfilled description. But actually - seriously disappointed with view.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Adagio. The room was peaceful, clean, quiet, and looked out over the Loire River. The staff was attentive and helpful. The location is superb, just a beautiful few minutes walk on a bridge over the Loire away from "downtown".

Saumur is really a great place to stay, much calmer - for example - than Angers (and close to it). There are lots of things to do and see nearby, and from the window of our room we had a beautiful view of the Castle! They have their own parking area, but we didn't have problems parking in a vacant place, just in front of the hotel, that is situated in an island in the Loire River, with easy access to the roads on both sides. The staff seemed to be a bit "worried", less professional, maybe, than the one you can find in big city hotels.

Breakfast on saturday was insufficient for number of guests. This was corrected but took some time. Toilet flush in one of the rooms was not working properly 304, Showerhat was broken 302. Rooms should be checked and omissions corrected before arrival of guests.

my main concern is that you do not have any info on the hotel in your print out other than the name: the address is not available, would be nice if you could add that to the page used for printing out
