How to reach Hotel Arboretum
By car
The main road 88, coming from Szombathely, intertwines with the main road 84 at the Kossuth Square, thus providing choices for further travel directions after Hegyközség. If you choose to turn left, eastwards, you reach the village of Sitke, and further on the towns of Celldömölk and Pápa. Should you choose the main road at the crossing in Hegyközség, then you can be sure to arrive in Sümeg and at the lake Balaton, passing by Borgáta and the roundabout at Jánosháza on the main road 8. If you prefer to take the left turn at the crossroads you reach Veszprém in the east and Szombathely in the west.
The main road 84, coming from Vienna-Sopron, intertwines with the main road 88 on the main square. The first part of the by-pass around Sárvár will be opened to traffic this year. When leaving the main road 88 for the Ikervári Street in the outskirts of Sárvár, called Sár, you will reach Ikervár and Rábahídvég, and on passing by Körmend you reach Zala County.
By train
Sárvár is one of the most important stations on the main Szombathely-Budapest railroad. Several significant towns in West-Transdanubia can be reached from here. The station is 10 minutes away from the Kossuth Square and can be reached via the Batthyány and Hunyadi streets.
By bus
Local buses and coaches arrive at the station between the Batthyány and Laktanya street. You can reach important cities and towns by bus within a few hours:
Sárvár-Budapest: 2 hrs 55 min.
Sárvár-Vienna: 3 hrs 45 min.
