Rooms are tiny, but the staff is great and there is plenty of public space to stretch out. Good location in Providencia.

The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful throughout my stay. The rooms, service and food were excellent. This was my first time at Hotel Meridiano Sur Petit and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Santiago or as a stopover choice. I am more than pleased. Thanks for a great stay!

I booked a taxi the evening before. In the morning at 8.00 the booking was confirmed by the staff. At 09.30 the taxi did not arrive and even not at 10.00. At the end I stopped a taxi in the road, the only way to avoid to lose my plane

At Meridiano Sur Petit you feel like as being in a two-store / five-room quiet family house, with a small leaving room with TV/DVD, books and two computers for guests use --the hotel offers free wi-fi. Cristina (I guess the owner) and Eduardo have been always very friendly and effective in answering all my requests. The rooms justify the Petit in the hotel name, though they are very clean, with a proportionally small but modern bathroom and a very comfortable bed that remind me typical hotels in Paris --except for the staff friendliness that is incomparably better in the Meridiano. The breakfast, included in the $93 rate, offers coffee, tea, milk, cereals, fresh juices, yogurt, fruits, sliced swiss and white cheese, all served in small pots/plates --ask the lady who serves the coffee for a 'dulce de leche pankake', the owner's recipe (the breakfast is at 8am which is not a convenient time for early birds). The hotel is not recommended if you expect to stay working overnight at the room or having business working meals, but if your're exploring the city for a week or making a short stay in the way to the ski stations, it definitely worth the price.

The most exceptional aspect of Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel was the cistomer service, it was excellent. As a boutique hotel it was very good, with an intimate and homely feel. The rooms, though small, were nice and really clean and comfortable, as were the public areas. The location was convenient. It was overall excellent value for oney for a single traveller. I must stress how excellent the staff were - friendly, warm helpful and professional. I highly recommend this hotel

The Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Friendly staff, comfortable but small rooms, nice common area, good breakfast and very interesting decor. The staff was accommodating with our need for an early breakfast on the day of departure. Great suggestions for restaurants. Would stay again when next in Santiago.

Sadly we only spent a night here but what a great hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They suggested a fantastic restaurant which enabled us to have one of the most enjoyable meals of our entire 7 week honeymoon. The rooms were great and cosy with an awesome bed. The area Provendencia is very nice and is a much better place to stay then the city. If i go to Santiago again i would definitely stay there. Cheers Rich

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Great staff, location was wonderful with very good restaurants within easy walking distance. Had a great meal at Uzaki, new restaurant not on their sheet, 2 blocks away and also across the street at the new seafood restaurant. We would stay here again

Our stay at Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel was just great. Staff were very helpful - arranged tours, taxis to the airport etc. At least one staff member on duty spoke english, which was much appreciated. Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel was charming with a great atmosphere. It is located between 2 Metro stops and has good restaurants within a safe, short walk. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to the budget minded traveller.

The hotel and staff were excellent. My only complaint was that the street noise was very noticeable in my room at the front of the hotel. If possible, request a room in the back.

This hotel is AMAZING. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I am 28 years old from New York. Everyone at the hotel went out of their way to be friendly, offer great advice, translate stuff to English for us and so on. The hotel helped us rent a car and get us directions to where we were going. It's also a 5 minute walk to the subway.

Our first visit to Santiago was made memorable by our stay at the Hotel Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, offering us excellent advice on sights, attractions and tips for getting around the city. The hotel is located in beautiful surroundings on a quiet street. The hotel gardens are accessed from the dining area and peaceful, providing a welcome sense of privacy. Fresh continental breakfasts were served in the dining room including fresh fruit juices and pastries. The quality of the hotel, rooms and furnishings were unique, of a high standard and befitting the intimate feel of the hotel. We would highly recommend the Hotel Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel to travellers looking for a great alternative to staying in a large, mainstream hotel.

We booked the loft which was bright and spacious (king bed + 2 singles) for 2 people it was great, although bathroom was small. I wouldn't like to have been in any other of the rooms for any length of time, since they are much smaller. The decor is charming, and the staff largely friendly and helpful.Great restaurant opposite, and many in area. Easy metro to city. Many stairs,4 floors, no lifts, so not suitable disabled travellers.

this really petit hotel is very well situated in the Providencia section of Santiago. The mature staff were very friendly and accommodating; the morning breakfast was modest but wholesome with the additional nice touch of being able to eat outdoors or indoors. The only (and minor) complaint is that for inexplicable reasons they use a 4 or six cup coffee maker so that with other guests, one is always waiting for a fresh pot of coffee to appear. PArking is subject to the Santiago style of paying the yellow-shirted parking force what they claim you owe when parking on the street. The hotel has a small driveway that can accommodate exactly ONE car. One can walk a few blocks south to one of two convenient Metro stops. The noise from cars hurrying down Ave. St Beatrix can be annoying if you have a front facing room (as we did) and want to keep your terrace doors open for some fresh evening air.

We stayed in a smallish room with a balcony onto the street. We found the hotel and its staff to be excellent with delicious breakfasts to start the day. The staff were always extremely helpful in meeting our requests and in organising trips and providing advice. Really it was a pleasure to be there. Of particular note was the ability to finish the day off in their delightful courtyard with our own snacks and wine. I wish there were more hotels like it.
