We stayed there for two nights. It is quite far from the center of Santiago. Buffet food was tasteless and not very well prepared (the butter served at breakfast expired 2 months earlier), but the ala carte restaurant was good. They had very few staff even in high season. The same guy was serving the bar and seating, waiting the restaurant at the same time.

Internet WiFi nelle camere a pagamento (molto caro), oppure gratis su due PC al piano terra. Fuori dalla città di circa 3 Km e dislocazione poco chiara per chi non conosce la zona. Attenzione alle indicazioni dei navigatori satellitari ed al sistema autostradale e tangenziale di Santiago! Ottimo albergo, pulito e spazioso, consigliabile a chi è dotato di auto.

we could heard everything from the rooms beside, and the hotel was hardly found even with a map.The restaurant was excellent and the staff was top.

How to reach Hotel Congreso

By car
From the centre of Santiago, take the road towards Orense. Proceed on the AC-841 road towards A Estrada. From this roundabout, proceed straight on for about 2 km until the Cepsa petrol station. Turn immediately on the right and you will see the Hotel Congreso.

From the AP-9 motorway from La Coruña to Vigo take the exit n.72 'Santiago Este–Orense'. Then proceed on the road, following the Santiago direction. Proceed straight ahead across the first roundabout and proceed straight on. At the second roundabout take the AC 841 towards A Estrada. From this roundabout, proceed straight on for about 2 km until you reach the Cepsa petrol station. Turn immediately on the right and you will see the Hotel Congreso.

By public transportation
From the airport take the Freire shuttle service until Santiago.
