Hotel TOP Royal Sun - Santa Susanna

The room was booked as a twin but, it had 2 extra cots, overhaul the hotel was a good standard but, needed some decorations The food was the best we ever had in any Hotel Three cheers for the Chef!!!

Half board included was a great saving. Plenty of food buffet atyle. easy access to Barcelona. Was noisy - traffic and people. hotel needs to upgrade lifts.

A Nice hotel located right on the beach. A little noisy perhaps with railway and entertainment going on round about, but that is a feature of a hotel in a location like this. As it was right at the end of the season the room could do with little freshening up and the extractor fan was not working. I expect it would have been fixed if I had reported it! But we didn't. The staff were very helpful, pleasant and cheerful. You have some sort of sea view from most rooms. A few people have I think, unjustly critised the food. My wife and I found it to be very good with a good choice and as much as you can eat. The price we paid at the end of the season was fantastic value and we will stay there again in 2007. There is a market and stalls to browse and shops all along the road which is just 50m off the sea front. The train station that is about 600m away and will take you to Barcelona in just over an hour for 6 euros return and it is a lovely journey mostly along the coast. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and will return

L'albergo è molto grande, ben organizzato pulito e fornisce un eccellente servizio. Mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso trovare già piena attività nella struttura: pulizia della spiaggia e delle piscine, animazione serale, ecc. Sicuramente il rapporto qualità/prezzo, almeno in questo periodo dell'anno,è molto elevato. Negativa la posizione, a ridosso della ferrovia, un po' difficile da raggiungere. Bella la veduta delle stanze sul mare. Ottimo e sicuramente consigliabile

The parking is on the steet .Swiming pools are not very clean.the food is disgusting

The hotel was spacious, although the pools were too small and became overcrowded by mid-day. The food however was very poor, most certainly not 4 star. By the middle of the second week we began to eat out all the day and left a day earlier than planned.

The restorant of this hotel need an much better cook!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the pool- and it is right on the beach. The full breakfast is very good and the dinners are excellent. Fun shopping on the main street at night. Staff very helpful and nice. The only drawback is how far from the Girona airport and difficult to get there. Sta. Susana is one hour train ride from Barcelona.

I was glad to reserve a room in such a short time by venere.com. Our stay was very satisfaid.

Excellent hotel on the beach, very good value for money. Air conditioned rooms a bonus. Rooms don't have hair dryers. International atmosphere. Plenty of reasonable quality food if half board. Close to railway line which you have to cross over / under to go 'into town' although noise from the railway wasn't a problem.

The Price was ok, but it was not e 4 Stars Hotel and the food was less the 2 Stars.

We had a couple of problems with the room when we arrived, but these were sorted out within 5 minutes, so full marks there. The buildings either side created quite a bit of noise through renovation and music, so if you want a quiet stay they may be a problem. Food was very average, but there is a great 'English' pub 30 seconds away (The Ship). Overall a good experience.

Extra english speaking tv stations would be nice. In room hair dryer would help.(one was available at reception)
