We where 2 adults and 2 children (8 and 9 years) and this was the only hotel in the area that where serviceminded enough to give us a room that we all could stay in. We where there on the way to Elba and on the way back. be aware of that they dont open the beachfacilities before 1st of juli. The beach is stones, so no good for a 2 year old, but fine for snorkling. The area around is beautiful. Ask for a suite with terrasse. You will get a great room with a perfect view, an for a good price. If i pass by Santa Marinella one more time, i would stay at Hotel Del Sole. Best regards Marit Laatun Norway

Impossible d'utiliser le parking soit disant pour l'hotel. Toujours plein. Avons dû nous garer quelquefois à deux kms!! Le réfrigérateur de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas !! Il y avait des toiles d'araignée au-dessus de la tête du lit... Il n'était pas possible de choisir son transat sur la plage privée... Je n'ai jamais vu cela à travers le monde. Les premiers arrivées prennent normalement la place qu'ils désirent. Et bien, là, il fallait l'autorisation d'une jeune fille censée gérer le parc des transats. Ce qui revient à dire que les personnes de passage n'ont aucune chance d'être au premier rang. Sur son tee shirt, il était indiqué "salvattaggio" alors que l'hôtel stipulait bien qu'il ne fallait compter sur aucun secours en cas de problème dans l'eau. Cela ne fait pas sérieux. De plus, en guise de plage, il serait plus honnête de mettre qu'il s'agit d'une plage de galets... On est loin des plages bretonnes. Un rapport qualité/prix inadmissible.

I found the staff very friendly.Morning breakfast was good but the room was small and there were cracks in the walls -I took some photographs of it. There was no freeze-freezer in the room ( Euro 175) and I amn't sure if it was on their the web advert- but in the heat of 35 degrees I think this was necessary.Private beach is not sandy. Staff all speak good english and is very helpful.Across the road is a small market -where one can get drinks and other stuff. A takeaway .pizza shop across is good. Overall stay was good but for the accomodaton place is a bit pricey.
