We stayed in a junior suite and the room was gorgeous. However, we asked for a balcony or terrace because we were were bringing our small dog and we did not get one. The manager GianLuca immediately came to our room to appologize and to remedy the situation by offering a discount and a bottle of prosecco. He also accomodated us in a late check out! He was so wonderful and we would stay at this hotel again because of him especially. The hotel is stunning and in perfect location. Some of the other staff werent exactly the friendliest, but no problems. Definitely will chose this hotel again.

Beautiful new Hotel Sophisticated and chic, yet congenial like only the Italian's can pull off Santa Margherite Ligure is a dream - all that's great about Italy in one compact pocket without the prices of sister town Portofino One Big issue is the Wi Fi Internet - it was poor or non existent When We mentioned it to Management staff we got an empathetic frown but nothing changed. for this class of Hotel not acceptable .

Certainly not a cheap hotel but the quality of design, finish and general surroundings are outstanding. We stayed for 5 days and left feeling very relaxed.
