The Santa Catarina hotel is a small, traditional and familiar hotel located in the heart of a small town, Santa Cruz, less than 2 minutes drive from Madeira international airport and 15 minutes from Funchal city.

The hotel staff was wonderful, very accomodating, helping us get a taxi to the airport for the next morning since we had a 6 am flight. She was very nice! The rooms were spacious, clean, nice. It was a very easy 2 block walk into the center of town, Santa Cruz is a lovely small village with beautiful charm.
