About Hotel Morandi

As I was walking in Sanremo , at the end of the delightful Imperatrice promenade, my attention was drawn to a Hotel which dates back to the early nineteen hundreds. I entered and I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly way in which I was greeted , Hotel Morandi is family owned and managed and combines tradition with modern day needs in order to guarantee an enjoyable stay in the 'City of Flowers'.

The Hotel also has a bar open 24 hours and you can enjoy the company of friends either in the bar, the lobby or in the beautiful garden, under the shadow of palm trees and lemon trees. The Hotel also has a car-park which makes reaching the Hotel by car very easy. The Hotel's reception was able to inform me on all the sites to see and all the events taking place in and around Sanremo (Ospedaletti, Bordighera, Ventimiglia, Imperia etc) and on my last evening they offered me a reduced fee entry card for the Casino which is only 300 meters from the Hotel.

Sadly my holiday is over but I will treasure the memory of the sunny days, the good food and the hospitality of the people , maybe next time we can go together and obviously stay at the Hotel Morandi!

Hotel Morandi guest room double room I was able to relax and sun bath on the balcony of my room from which I could also enjoy a beautiful view of the sea. I nearly forgot to mention, all the rooms have colour TV, phone, bathroom and hairdryer.

I just had to stay for one night but it was pleasant. The room was clean and spaciuos enough for me. I did appreciate the employees' kindness in particular.

hotel staff unfriendly/unhappy, breakfast very basic,cereal,bread rolls,croissants,(not very fresh)electrical sockets loose on the walls,towels like sandpaper and paper thin. Take my advice and do what we will do next time stay in Nice and travel to Sanremo its less than 1 hours very pleasant drive along the coast

We used Venere because they were the only website we could find that would search for family rooms. The Morandi is a pleasant hotel, in a great location in San Remo. We shared a large family room with our 2 kids, and it was fine. The facilities are basic, but sufficient for being used as a base and to sleep. Would return again.

nice hotel, but very old, the bathroom was clean but it rather looked like a cupboard the elevator was frightening.

staff were excellent and helpfull they made every attempt to make our stay welcome there local knowledge was very good ,the rooms were very spacious but were in need of some refurbishment,was very noisy withthe windows open would be a lot quiter with a room at the rear,overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
