The hotel was excellent value for money and the food absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a quieter (and cheaper) alternative to staying in Kitzbuhel. All the surrounding countryside is easily reached by car or by public transport.

What a wonderful, charming hotel. The staff was small and very happy to help. Felt very comfortable in beautiful Austria. The old world wood interior was warm and welcoming in the dining room. They also offer outside dining in the patio garden. Would highly recommend, clean and charming for the price.

A friend and I stayed here for a short snowboarding trip. All the staff are very friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent, big portions and very reasonably priced, just what you need after a hard day on the slopes!!

Very good hotel, great food and lovely room. We only stayed one night on our way south to Croatia. It is not easy to find though. The directions on the website are not enough.

Had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Although the hotels restaurant was excellent, the town and other great restaurants were only a short walk away. If we returned again we would concider half board, as other guests found it good value. Peter and his staff were friendly and helpful. The local swimming pool (Free to guests) and the summer toboggan run next door are a must to do. We would definatly book here again.

From Munich: take the Inntalautobahn A12 and exit at Kufstein Süd. Follow the Bundesstrasse 173 towards Eiberg and then take the Bundesstrasse 178 to arrive at the hotel.
From Innsbruck: take the Inntalautobahn and exit at Wörge Ost . From here, the Bundesstrasse 178 will take you to the hotel.
By train
Express trains stop at the train station of St. Johann in Tyrol.
By airplane
The closest airport is in Salzburg, 80 km from St. Johann. Other airports include Munich, 160 km away, and Innsbruck, 100 km from St. Johann.
