The Hotel Garni Gruber is a small and family-run hotel, equipped with every comfort and positioned in the enchanting St. Johann in Tirol, amidst the Alps of Kitzbühel, one of the most famous and beautiful skiing regions.
You will have a good time also during the summer months and gain unforgettable memories during walks in the beautiful surroundings, excursions in the mountains, bike and mountainbike tours. Hotel guests will have free entrance to the nearby panoramic swimming pools. Golf courses and riding stables are close as well.
In the hotel you can relax in a wellness area with different saunas, steam bath, massage showers and an infrared cabin or shape your body in the fitness room. A masseur and pedicurist will come in the hotel, on request. A sunny terrace, a lawn, a lounge, TV-room and washing machine are available.

Abbiamo trovato un'ottima accoglienza,Franz,Il proprietario multilingue, non ti fa sentire a disagio per la lingua nonostante noi non chiedessimo espressamente di parlare italiano.Struttura elegante,raffinata,camere nuove e ben tenute;la colazione non è cosi' "pantagruelica" come la si descrive,ma c'è tutto il necessario..

How to reach Hotel Garni Gruber
By car
Coming from Munich (135 km away) proceed on the highway Inntalautobahn A12 until the exit Kufstein Süd. Take the federal road B173 afterwards, passing Eiberg. From Innsbruck (90 km away), take the Inntalautobahn A12. After the Wörgl Ost exit proceed on the federal road B178 until reaching St.Johann. There you have to take the tunnel and then, after 400 m, turn right into a small one-way street until you reach the hotel.
By train
There is no direct connection between Munich and St. Johann. You have to change the train in Rosenheim and also in Wörgl.
Once a day there is a direct connection between Salzburg and St. Johann. Otherwise you have to travel via Saalfelden or via Rosenberg and Wörgl.
By airplane
From the Munich airport (about 160 km away), from the airport of Innsbruck (around 100 km away) or the airport of Salzburg (80 km away), you can reach St. Johann by train.

The Gruber family will welcome you in a typical cosy Tyrolean room, called Stube with local snacks and a glass of wine, coffee, cakes and the famous Viennese apple strudel.
