The hotel is located within walking distance to food shops and the beach. The surroundings are very quiet and the staff was very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is good except for the fact that there was no natural fruit juice, just the concentrated stuff. Room was very clean although there was just one soap bar for the 2 days we've stayed. It''s a hotel I would definitely recommend, and I'm sure I'll book it again for my next visit.

It was very modest, value for money was excellent. The hotel was nothing glamorous, but clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and halpful. The free lounges at the beach were a plus and San Vincenzo overall was a charming little town.

The hotel was well run, informal and very pleasantly situated a few minutes walk from the beach and on a nice road. There were nice restaurants in the immediate area although we were at the end of the season and not all were open. The main area was lively with a good choice of restaurants. The area was quiet and sufficiently far from the main road.

This is a quiet and nice hotel. We stayed there for one week and had a very good time. The private beach was very good and only a 2 minutes walk away. The breakfast was simple but good. The staff didn't talk so much english, but was very helpful and nice. We had a rental car and there was no problem parking in the street outside the hotel. The room was not big, but is was no problem for 2 people. Very clean and new towels every day. I can recomend this hotel

The most peaceful and wonderful familyrun hotel for a relaxing holiday in Tuscany. Facilities: Pool, garden and private beach with sundbeds. Helpful and professional staff -but speaks only French and a little German. Perfect for trips to Tuscany gems like Bolgeri and Populina. 10% off prices at the nearby restaurant. Hotelprices up since last year, but still acceptable.

San Vincenso is the nicest resort on the coast and La Coccinella is the nicest hotel there! It is a modest size hotel which is kept very clean, it is very close (1 min walk) to the lovely sandy beach where it has its own private section with free sunbeds and umbrellas and this is ideal as the beach can be busy and the price to hire sunbeds etc on the beach is quite high. The propreitors and staff are very welcoming and eager to assist you in every way, and a real gentleman Gianni Bertolotti (a former Olympic Basketball player!)looks after the hotel during the night.A 10 min walk brings you to the center of the resort with plenty of restraunts and shops. The world class Gambero Rosso restraunt is a must, expensive but worth every cent for the experience. There is a couple of restraunts close by including the Blue Marlyn, all serving lovely Tuscan fare.It is also a great location from which to tour the region,Pisa only 1.5hrs away, florence 2 hrs,and plenty of nice coastal roads and views in the immediate vicinity.Altogether a lovely location and hotel!

Very nice people, nice place, close to the beach. We had a room at the back of the building, and the noise from the street was a bit annoying so it wasn't very tempting to use the balcony. NB: there are no English speaking people working at the hotel. All in all, great value for the money.

Very clean, friendly, private hotel (Approx 1 hours drive from Pisa Airport along the coast road). Lovely location - very near to the beach in a quiet area, yet within a 15 min walk of the town centre. Spacious bedrooms, but would welcome air conditioning (ours only had a ceiling fan). Plenty of car parking space and a pretty garden to sit and have a drink in the evening. Pool area very clean and suitable for young children. Local recommended eateries include a place called "Serendipity" - not far from the town cenre, but on the beach front, and "La Lanterna" Bar which is great at lunch time for a quick bite to eat. Also worth trying is a place called " Zanzibar" which is on the sea front in the harbour. If you have kids with you the water park at Cecina is about 30 mins away by car and relatively easy to find and costs €12 per person with discount vouchers from the hotel reception. All in all a great pace to go for a quiet break, but with enough to do to keep children occupied.

This is a small family hotel, located a few km from the city. Parking can be hard to find, the free hotel parking may bee full. You have to walk some 200m to the beach where the included sunbeds/umbrellas are. Nice and quiet hotel for familys

Aanrader!!!

The breakfast was adequate but not exceptional (pre packd pastry as opposed to fresh) and very disappointing that, especially in Italy, we had to pay extra for proper coffee and capuccino or have to ve content with vending machine coffee. We were given very good recommendations with regards to restaurants in the surrounding area.

The proprieters of the hotel are extremely pleasant and offer a fine personalized service. The hotel itself is charming, but nothing spectacular. Breakfast is below standard - but this does not shkae the overall picture of a very recommendable hotel

The private beach is a short walk away from the hotel, this is not clear from the description. The bathroom was compact and the fixtures dated but they worked.
