We stayed in the apartment looking over the main square. Positive: excellent location, full kitchen, spacious room. Negative: bed is a pull-out. Very uncomfortable

The suit is brand new and right in the center of the town, on the piazza Colombo, which is very near to the main appartments where u do the check in( Via Mameli 18). Price is very good for the quality u get. I recommend it to everyone. The town itself wasn't that interesting:)

How to reach Memole Inn
By carFrom the highway, take the Sanremo centro exit. Proceed for 200 meters/0.1 mile and then turn left at the first intersection. Follow along Via Padre Semeria. Turn left at the traffic light and keep driving straight onto Corso Matuzia, then onto Corso Imperatrice and finally straight again until the end of Via Roma (you will arrive in front of a fountain with the name Sanremo on it). At the fountain, turn left onto Via Manzoni. At the end of the street, turn left onto Piazza Colombo square. Keep driving along Via Matteotti (you will see a McDonald's restaurant on your right) and proceed until you see the Ariston Theatre on the left. Turn right into Via Mameli. You will find a parking lot. The Memole Inn entrance is located between La bottega del Caffè coffee shop and Cristina Preziosi jewelery shop.
By train
From Sanremo railway station, turn right and go straight until you reach the roundabout. take the third street (Corso Garibaldi) and proceed until you reach Piazza Colombo square. Continue straight along Via Matteotti (you will see a McDonald's restaurant on your right) and proceed until you see the Ariston Theatre on the left. Turn right into Via Mameli. The Memole Inn entrance is located between La bottega del Caffè coffee shop and Cristina Preziosi jewelery shop.

There are additional fees for motorway tolls and extra luggage, and fares are more expensive at night. Gare St Augustin station is 500 metres from the terminals with trains running to Nice Gare Ville station. Trains from Nice to San Remo take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Prices is subject to change.
Getting around: San Remo centre is easy to explore on foot, particularly the seafront, though the old town streets can be steep. Driving is not recommended within the city, and taxis are expensive. A hire car would be useful for exploring further afield.
