Hotel Belvedere - San Remo

I have rented a 2 rooms apartment for 2 nights at Belvedere. Unfortunately, the apartment was dirty and small with a very depresing look and feel. Although, most of the staff at Belvedere is unilingual, which created a communication barrier between us as customers and the service provider. Otherwise, they are very nice people.

Good location. Shabby and out date as well as all of San Remo. Hard to believe that Nice and San Remo were 100 years ago both popular among the nobility of all Europe,today they have a difference of light years apart. A qudruple was made of two spacious bedrooms, bathroom decently renowated,rooms were clean,price was not bad, 115€ for 4 persons,including breakfast. Overall a modest hotel that has seen better days.

Great location and great quality for this price.

It was aufull, especially the size of room, the quality of bathroom, windows closed by old wooden thing, wich was impossible to open... Breakfast was the worst that I've ever had in all kinds of hotels (even the cheapeat).

Rooms need airconditioning and general refurbishment.

Excellent location! Clean rooms. Elevator can get crammed and leaving you waiting... Alltogether, I ca warmly recommend this hotel!

L'hotel è molto comodo per la sua centralità, è vicino a tutte le maggiori attrazioni che sono raggiungibili a piedi. Non facile trovare un posto auto. Le camere sono molto spaziose ma la puilizia (dei pavimenti) non è delle migliori. Il resto sembrerebbe ben pulito. Il personale è molto gentile.

The hotel is in the best position to visit the center and the town and it is also very closte to the see always on foot, is very easy to find parking, you can choose public free or paying parking, the breakfast was good,at the 6 floor you can find a good terrace where you can see sunrise and all the city, the hotel manager give me a large double room instead of single room.

Our room was on the 5th floor and had 2 separate bedrooms for the kids and adults. We had a terrace with a few of the sea and I made a phone call to USA for free. Breakfast was included in the price. Parking was not very easy to find as you are left to park anywhere available in the city. The beach is not too far away. We managed to park there and walk with our suitcases to the hotel. There are restaurants nearby and one is in the hotel.

The room was very cold at night also there was lots of noise from the night club below which kept us awake until after 4am. the breakfast consisted of 1 croisant and bread with jam or marmalade coffee.nothing else was available. it was a very disapointing stay.

We stayed in San Remo for one night in Nov. 2004. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. The breakfast was good. Parking was a nightmare and the hotel was difficult to find. There was a water view which was nice. In the future we would probably choose something outside of town.

The hotel was fine the only thing is that i thought the breakfast could have been a bit more substantial. I know continental breakfasts are different from english ones but to only have a variety of bread on display is in my opinion unsufficient. Thanks, justin.

The hotel room and bathroom were very large. I was expecting an airconditioned room with tv but the tv in the room did not work and I did not have air conditioning in my room at all. (it was August). Everything else was good though.
