Hotel Ariston Montecarlo - San Remo

We found some ants in the bed every night of our stay. and there was an unpleasent smell of humidity in the room and in the toilet in particular.

Very good service. We stayed for one night more because of the good service and nice atmosphere. Thanks for everything and best regards!

On arrival we thought the location was far from the city center, but we soon learned that with the frequent buses to and from, this was no problem at all, rather an advantage.

A very tired and run down hotel which leaves a lot to be desired. The only positives were the friendly waiter at breakfast and the day manager

The breakfast although decent was not always fresh, rooms were small, hotel not in San Remo and at the end of the day people go to this hotel just because of the swimming pool and the free parking....not worth it imo This place is very expensive vs the services they provide. there are so many things that I can say about this hotel but seriously not really worth my time. I would not recommend this place just for the free parking lot, in fact I wouldn't even recommend this place even for one night!

Réception (par le patron, vraisemblablement) pas très aimable: sur un ton méfiant, il voulait nous donner une chambre pour trois, alors que la réservation avait été faite pour deux chambres. et il insistait, malgré la copie du mail de confirmation. Heureusement, les autres employés ont corrigé cette mauvaise impression première.

From the information on the website you have no idea that the hotel is far away from Sanremo Center and has no access at all to the beach. The employees try their best to be friendly and helpful though

Malgre la taille de la chambre un peu juste, la salle d'eau etait, elle, spacieuse. Belle vue sur piscine et colline d'un cote, sur la mer et la baie de San Remo de l'autre ! Route passant devant l'hotel mais pas si frequentée que celà. Gros point forts: Très grande piscine et VTT gratuits (2h) pour ballade sur piste cyclable eloignée de toute circulation d'engins motorisés ! BRAVO

Really enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast outside at the swimming pool. The staff couldn't have done more to make our stay enjoyable.

Extremely nice hotel, it looks like a place for rich people but the staff i spoke to were very nice and humble. I stayed in San Remo because i was travelling that way and its on the famous Via Aurelia SS1 which leads all the way from the French border to Roma. The price was exceptional for the high quality of the rooms, altho i probably got a good deal because of going in April. Viva Italia e Buon voyagio. Grazie per bellissima staff in Hotel.

We booked late and this was 1 of a limited number of quad rooms available. If you do not have a car it is too far to walk to from San Remo so it meant several bus trips in and out for us. You really need a car. The swimming pool attracted us to the hotel not the location. Good breakfast. Service was not called on often but 2 requests for an extra 2 towels in addition to only 2 in a room for 4 people was not dealt with so it perhaps indicated a shortage of staff or an overworked receptionist??? Prices were high for the location but it does have a lovely pool.

Very nice Hotel managed very well by Alberto who is everything from the pool man to the managing director.
