Clear evenings allow you to sight the town of Siena, with its towers and lights.
S.Quirico d’Orcia is one of these little Italian towns with a no time Historical Centre. Also the modern centre has grown preserving the warm and human character that makes rich a little community of people.

The hotel, in the middle of the green countryside, is surrounded by a park with a small lake for fishing and a horse-riding stables. Free use of mountain bike for customers.

This hotel is great for its view and pool. The employees all speak decent english. Arrival in the middle of the night was no problem. Only the rooms are very simple and somewhat dated . Price/room quality is not great. But there was nothing better available at this time. A matter of supply/demand I suppose.

Excellent, reasonably priced accomodations for the Montalcino area. Hotel was relatively easy to find, well marked, clean, and the room was more than adequate, small but comfortable and with a nice view of the surrounding countryside. Staff was quite helpful. Fairly short drive to Montalcino and surrounding areas; as such, considering the price this is a much better alternative to some other options in the area. Be sure to hit breakfast early, as we arrived closer to the end of the alloted time and they didn't seem interested in restocking the buffet... Would definitely stay here again.

A superb, quiet and peaceful location. Very good buffet breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. We were booked on a B&B basis but ate dinner at the hotel because of the wonderful food, great value for money, lovely wines (from Simonelli-Santi) and the stunning view across towards Montalcino. Note that although the locals use the swim pool on a paying basis, there was space for us as well. We would happily return another day.
